Very nice. I played a bit of the earlier version of this on Maelstrom, but went back to the old disc version (Storm Engine) with the mod because it was very buggy, but it's good to see it's still being worked on.
This project looks amazing. But when will the gameplay get fixed? I find it both overly complicated and both too difficult and too easy at once. I think it forgot to be a game due to the obsession with realism.

@@Reichthoff Good bloody question. One could argue it is cheating Bethesda/Akella AND cheating PiratesAhoy! too. Zero of the people involved in the creation of "Pirates of the Caribbean" or "New Horizons" get any of the proceeds of Maelstrom.
What do you mean? PotC (aka. Sea Dogs 2) was released before AoP. Sequel was "Caribbean Tales". Then followed "City of Abandoned Ships". Finally "To Each His Own", but there the devs returned the series title back to the original Sea Dogs.
