    Good lecture . show us complete deit plan for Icu patient . Since u just did for proteins. Also protein powder also contain carbohydrates so . .they r not pure protein . Also how to supplement fats thro Rt. . what can be given via rt for proteins as so many scoops per day will lead to increase in cost of therapy. Include Indian food items and tell us diet plan

      For fats I think coconut oil is cheap otherwise similar thing available by pharma companies come as emulsion can talk to pharmacist.

    Awesome explanation but i have query. please address if possible 300mg carbohydrates scopes as you said is for 2100 that is for 1 day it has to be divided into 8 i.e 300mg/8 =per feed

    Sir we a GBS pt 70 kg male since last 3 months still on intermittent venti
    .... weight continue decreasing..... muscle wasting may due malnutrition or disuse..... how to diet plan such patient

      Chronic GBS on ventilator is challenging to manage in terms of nutrition. I would also like to know diet plan.

    Nice class sir. Can you through some light on when patient is On parentral as well entral feed also. So how to decide this much of calories is from entral feed and this much is from fluid.

      Simply see how much Parentral is providing , rest u can give from enteral . Slowly try to shift to entral only
