- The static Shock part was blocked, it would have been between Batman Beyond and The Zeta Project.
Thank you for all the corrections in the comments, hopefully someday there will be a 100% full complete list someday. - เกม
Batman Beyond was my introduction to Batman. It is still one of my favourite animated series of all time. This intro will always have a place in my heart. Same goes for Justice League, JLU and Teen Titans. These shows made me love DC Universe. They will always be a part of me.

Trivia of the day.
The narrator for the Superfriends was Ted Knight, aka Ted Baxter from the Mary Tyler More Show.
You’re right. He also did a lot of the early Filmation series, including the elusive series Journey To The Centre of the Earth-a series that also included the voice of Pat Harrington. He was a well known Comedian who also provided the voice of the Inspector in the Pink Panther series. He was best known for his role as the building supervisor Schneider in the sitcom One Day At A Time. He also voiced Jon’s dad in some of the early Garfield specials.
@@MrStereo10 Daniel Patrick Harrington Jr. (August 13, 1929 - January 6, 2016) was an American Emmy Award -winning stage and television actor, best known for his role as building superintendent Dwayne Schneider on the sitcom One Day at a Time (1975-1984)
@@lovethemack That’s him.
First season, only.
Interesting factoid addon : Ted Knight is also the alias of DC's Starman
This brings back a lot of memories
Some of these I've never heard of.
The early cartoons with the flashing...seizure inducing? Still brings back memories.
Came here to say this. How the hell did these stay on air??
@@acequantum2850 I guess it was before they realized the issues with those flashing lights. Or something.
Back in those days an epileptic kid would just get slapped in the back of the head and told to not be such a wimp
The effect might not have been as noticeable on black and white TVs with poor antenna signals.
31:38 Quite Possibly, one of *THE COOLEST* intros for the Batman I've seen since I was a child. To this *DAY* ...
To this *DAY* it *STILL IS*
Well, you are right about that. Though I must confess Batman Beyond does beat it.
Get us out from under Wonder Woman? Ummm...no thank you, I'll stay right here.
ted knight was one of the best voice over artists of all time
I'm old. I watched the '60s DC cartoons when they first aired. But I admit it - the Justice League opening send chills every time I see it.
I'm old too and I get those same chills.
Damn seems DC was REALLY proud of that animation fo Robin throwing the batarang
No Static Shock? If it was rights to the music, his first season did have a generic song. The Constantine show was also missing.
Glad to know that my memories of those two shows weren't Mandela Effects!
justice league and jlu had the best theme songs
I have the JL theme as an alarm system n my phone
Agreed but Green Lantern TAS, Batman Beyond & Legion of Superheroes are of that league.
Obviously Batman TAS & Superman TAS use variants of the movie themes by Danny Elfman and John Williams. So I'm not counting those.
And Teen Titans themes are just love or hate. Personally I love both.
And of live series Doom Patrol, The Batman, Wonder Woman '77 and Batman'66 are unbeatable. You hear them once and you remember them.
I like this Batman's cartoon from 2004.
My first was Batman (’67) and my last that I watched was Batman Beyond and I think that both were the best theme songs there were.
Ah the old days
Thank you SO much for this!
11:54 is the greatest cartoon intro ever....
Gives me goosebumps every time.
The Adventures of Batman with Robin the Boy Wonder really didn’t care about seizures in their intro, did they
It wasn't a problem back then.
The real problem is, the issue wasnt big enough 50 years ago
@@ilvpowerrangersit was but they didn’t really give a shit because they couldn’t comprehend it
Talk about Darwinism
It was 1968 no body was thinking about that
What an absolute fanboy treat fest!!! Great GOOGLY moogly, I enjoyed the heck outta seeing these collected together like this!!
BRAVO and Well Done, sir!
Many thanks.
On a side note, had the great honor of meeting legendary comics artist and Hal Jordan GL co-creator GIL KANE at the Orlando Comicon in 1995 and he shared with us that he was commissioned to the character study boards for the GALACTIC GUARDIANS and that this particular iteration of the SF’s was special in that the producers wanted to use a type of 3-D style movement in certain scenes and use additional cells of animation for more fluid movement. I’m thinking that was why there wasn’t as many episodes of that last version as the others. Very sad.
The Wonder woman song sounded like you were in a revival meeting
It’s among the most brilliant theme songs ever, not just for superhero shows, but for _any_ show. Keep in mind that the first season (which this particular intro was for) was set in the 1940s during WWII, but the series itself aired in the 1970s.
The theme songwriter seamlessly fused 1940s Boogie-Woogie (complete with “walking” piano bass) with a 70s Disco beat, and actually made it _work,_ and astoundingly so, creating a whole much greater than the sum or even product of its parts.
The only superhero theme song I’d say matches it isn’t a DC or Marvel series, It was the likewise live-action _The Greatest American Hero_ theme song, which became a Top 40s hit.
WOW! Thanks! Never saw the "Stay Tuned For Batman part of the hour" one!!!!
Thank you very much, Super Sam Steven, for uploading this interesting video so that I can see it again in the near future.
Please have a nice day today. ™

30:54-31:04 my favorite intro from justice league unlimited.
I enjoy watching The Batman, Krypto the Super Dog, Teen Titans GO! & DC Superhero Girls. There the best shows ever.
Thanks for taking the time to put this together!
The swamp thing cartoon music was clever
I agree with you on that one.
You do know that these were just new lyrics to "Wild Thing", yes?
I love how they have Mary Batson using her transformation to move a chair
i lover love how her shazam only lists one name "and some other goddesses " fuck it good enough... lol
3:49 now I know where mermaid man and barnacle boy came from (in SpongeBob)
because Mermaidman was like the Aquaman of Bikini Bottom
I miss tv shows like justice league unlimited, teen Titans, legion of super heroes and young justice
Ruby Spears SUPERMAN!
Superman: Up, Up, And Away!
Thank you for this
not gonna lie
young justice was just the end of an era
*green lantern TAS*
I think they missed NBC's Constantine.
That wasn't around 3 years ago, was it?
@@nerdofgames1608 No, it premiered in 2014, almost 10 years ago. It lasted one season and then the character had a cameo on a few episodes of Arrow and later was on Legends of Tomorrow for 2 seasons.
@@JMO_1976 Thanks. :)
Dang, how many people suffered seizures watching the Batman and Robin the Boy Wonder intro? :P
Filmation also used seizure-vision on The Superman / Aquaman Hour Of Adventure and the Flash, Atom, Hawkman, Green Lantern, Teen Titans and Justice League Of America segments, not to mention, Fantastic Voyage.

Ummm...What happened to Static Shock?
It's amazing superhero fan survived some of those early openings. That's a seizure warning and a half.
Scary to think that the only one I didn't see the original run of was The Adventures of Superman from the 50's. Otherwise I have been around for all of them. My Baby Book had that my favorite TV show at 3 was Batman. Have been a Bat fan ever since. But cool to see how they have gone. Although it appears they short changed the later CW shows.
Wow 70 years of DC TV shows both live action and animated.
Para La Banda Sonora De
Hybrid Theory (2000)
Meteora (2003)
Minutes To Midnight (2007)
I never saw Galactic Guardians. Cool to see that they used Garcia Lopez' character designs.
Superman, (with George Reeves and Christopher Reeve) Batman (with Adam West and Burt Ward) and Wonder Woman (with Lynda Carter) were the best programs that I remember watching in front of the tv set every single time that it was aired.
Please post only positive comments over here. ™

I love how inbetween dc superhero girls is doom patrol and swamp thing two of dc best and most dark tv shows
I Definitely Like Those DC Intros They Great Especially My Favorite Ones Are
1.Superfriends (Especially)
2.Batman 1966 TV Series (Especially)
3.Wonder Woman 1970s TV Series
4.Batman The Animated Series & Batman Beyond (Especially)
5.Justice League 2001/JLU
(Especially)
6.Teen Titans 2003 (Especially)
7.The Batman 2004 Season 4,5 (Especially)
8.Static Shock Season 1 & 3 (Especially)
So Thank You The Late Kevin Conroy & The Late Adam West For Shining Our Childhoods As Batman Fans So Did Mine Because I Been A Batman Fan For 20 Years Starting In DCAU Era Of Batman. So Im Still Gonna Being A Batman Fan Started With New Voice Actors Like Diedrich Badger and Rino Romano Rodger Craig Smith Too.❤
I didn't see the intro for Constantine. It was an NBC show from 2014 that lasted only one season, but Matt Ryan did such a great job in the role they brought him into the Arrowverse to play Constantine. Good catch with the Rick Springfield Human Target. I only knew about the Mark Valley one.
SWAMP THING, YOU ARE AMAZING🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️
About that song for superman/aquaman power hour I watched that show when I was growing up - even then I thought that song was hilarious it sounded like a Broadway production the only thing missing from that was dancing girls. This is why corporations should never be in charge of production of shows like this.
Every show sounded like that at the time, so it was all good.
Tem um canal aberto aqui no Brasil, SBT, que sempre passou muitas coisas da WB, então muitos desses desenhos nós lembramos de ter visto nesse canal. Durou dos anos 90 até esse ano, agora apenas no Sábado.
The Jr Super Friends Were not much help until the Wonder Twins with Gleek came Along
I always thought as a kid that it was strange ro have 2 cartoons involving Batman at the same time ,though the Filmation version is more closely related to the live action series since they used all the classic villians
So in love with that Animated Swamp Thing theme song!
Friendly mention that you missed the Batgirl variation theme from Batman 66, and it might have been just as good to start with the original Superman cartoon. Cheers! Great job!
Yeah I'm sorry but that didn't put a shock to my system, if you get the hint you know you're missing somebody.
When watching TV was fun, ✔️
11:52 - Challenge of The Superfriends
And Cyborg, God bless him, he really, really deserves a chance to have his own movie in the DCEU!! We would have seen it sooner if it wasn't for that dumbass Twerp Trumps Zero Hollywood Monster!!!
You almost got them all. Even the Human Target, Twice. And yet Constantine was left out completely.
Love Constantine, currently watching it right now ,love it
So was iZombie, Lucifer and Preacher.
And no Static Shock
And I have never heard of Human Target.
Superboy’s theme with Gerard Christopher was missing as was the 2nd theme music to the BTAS and its other theme combined with Superman TAS.
Did I miss Constantine in this?
And Lucifer, and maybe watchmen
@@gohanrebelde9888watchmen at 44:05
30:41 So that's where people on TH-cam get the music from for their video intros.
Constantine is missing. This is a great video, however
I miss singing, "Somebody, Save me!!!!"
14:52 - They portrayed Mary Batson as someone who deserves to have her powers revoked, for having the nerve to "go superhero" just to move a chair! That's f'd up.
The chair never moved.
The new Superman adventures when Christopher reeve legend lives
Wow, they really loved Aquaman back in the day. Was he considered one of the big 3 or something back then? Otherwise, I don't see why they would not only choose him as part of the Justice League over the likes of Flash or Green Lantern, but they even had him flying alongside Superman and Wonder Woman instead of, oh I don't know, BATMAN!?
It might have to do with the fact that Aquaman is older than the silver age versions of Flash and Green Lantern.
The 2010 human target series was way underrated
in the Superman series the line "Strange Visitor From Another Planet" always gets me he wasn't a visitor he lived on earth from the very time he could remember anything 😆 not like he landed from a crafted and said maybe I'll just stay here awhile
Before today, I had never heard of Human Target.
You skipped Static Shock
I like how the super friends art got better and better.
AWESOME collection BRO. 👍✌👍🤟🤟✌✌⚡⚡
TEEN TITANS!
Robin: TITANS GO!
Missed luciter and stargirl. (Though maybe stargirl out after your compilation) Also, there was a new version of Wonder Woman when they moved the series into the 70’s. But all in all a great collection.
No Static Shock?
I could be wrong here but it looks like static shock was left out of this lineup and if I'm also not mistaken wasn't static before teen titans? Because keep in mind in the episode hard as nails we hear of the teen Titans but we hadn't seen them yet. Just saying LOL still nice job
I think Static Shock was omitted because of music rights for it's theme song.
I believe that's the reason the actual Black Lightning intro also wasn't used:
"I saw a superhero, he was black, he said this is for the hood, Black Lightning's back!".
The original poster probably could have included them both without the music soundtrack.
50's, 60's and 90's were just.... special
My favourite shows are Smallville: Superman of the early years. Just after the Superman movies (1978 to 1987)
I see the DC comics heroes on this group do you have the Marvel heroes in this bunch?
Awesome 👍🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟
No Static Shock, and no Lucifer, no Constantine.
Did I miss Constantine
somehow
You should do marvel too!
Superman the animated series had the best theme song for the 90s. Also, Brad Garrett as LOBO. HELL YES.
2:50 Please put an epilepsy warning...
There was a super hero comedy show in the early 60's called Mr terrific I'm surprised that isn't in this group
That Mr. Terrific is not a DC Comics character and neither is the other comedy superhero of the 60s, Captain Nice.
There was also a Mr. Terrific (played by Bob Dishy) on one episode of The Golden Girls that is also unrelated to the two DC Comics versions.
Fun Fact: Alan Young who played Wilbur Post on Mr. Ed, played Mr. Terrific in the original 1966 unaired pilot before Stephen Strimpell played him in the 1967 series.
Another Fun Fact: Columbia Pictures had to get permission from DC Comics to use the name of one of their characters for the movie "The Karate Kid".
Absolutely terrifying.
Bobby😢😢😢😢😢
Dancing! Plastic Man's greatest ability!
excellent only Constantine left
My favorite Batman beyond, challenge of the superfriends and of course Wonder Woman ❤
Love the dcau shows. Wish zeta got another couple seasons, show was a banger.
JL unlimited is still the peak
A couple of shows you missed include the animated series Static Shock. This ran around the time of Justice League/Justice League Unlimited. In fact, there were some crossover episodes between the two. It’s discovered that he’s actually Green Lantern and Hawkgirl’s son.
Also The live action Constantine. It ran for 13 episodes, but the character(and actor Matt Ryan) lived on to later appear in Legends Of Tomorrow and made a guest appearance in the series Lucifer. There were also a few animated Constantine movies as well.
Smallville is my most favourite. 👍🏻
nice
Superman originally couldn't fly, he could just jump really high and far. That's why the line "Able to leap tall building in a single bound," is part of the lore.
Yes, he was given the power to fly in the 1940s Fleischer cartoons as they thought it would be better visually that just having him leap around. The comics adopted this shorty afterwards.
Very good. Missing the Filmation Teen Titans and Cathy Lee Crosby Wonder Woman
Swamp Thing, I think I love you.
Seriously, that is a kickass theme song.
Easy when you swipe a hit song and just change the lyrics.
you forgot the shows Lucifer and Constantine (:
DC should buy The Crow. The Crow would totally fit into the line up. Just imagine real cool animated series with crossovers to Batman in 80s/90s noir-goth style. Or The Crow vs Joker.
God, I am so fucking glad BTAS happened.
It's funny seeing all those music and editing trends that must have seemed so modern for their respective eras.
What blew my mind with both Batman TAS and Superman TAS ,was that at the end, there was no title, which I thought was brilliant! I mean, if you don't know who they are, what's wrong with you?
