You forgot to mention that Deathwing lost his horn on the Day of the Dragon when Aspects regained their powers and Alexstrasza channeled her pain into him.
Thanks for all your first hand in knowledge about wow I truly get a ton out of your story telling and lore to me is the hook line and sinker in my following
...The earth is Azeroth itself... Does this mean that the title "Earth Warder" might be more accurate as "Warder of Azeroth"? Azeroth's communique to Muridon (after his devolution to his state of origin, stone) comes in the visions that could invoke madness had they not been restrained in scope. Maybe Azeroth is the unwitting source of Deathwing's madness simply for Her methods of communication (which are holistic/reality warping in nature, making her vary similar to the old gods that are working at converting her to their side). Something to mull over...
I like to think that the old gods used Azeroth to whisper to Deathwing, like she was full on almost corrupted but as the old gods were slowly eliminated she slowly regained control.
@@TuberoseKisser I actually like that idea a lot, once they figured out how to replicate Azeroth's visions, they would totally use that against him.

Weird how Anduin turned into Deathwing
Deathwing Part 1 and 2 by Nobbel87 are just, uncanny pieces of work. I've replayed the story on repeat..3 times now?
I've heard it already countless times more.
So many Great pieces of lore within this story, it helps make for a lot of nostalgic fun..listening to these vids while farmiing old content.

The one thing that always comes across my mind even though i love the lore is: Wouldnt the Titan keepers kinda know how influential the Old Gods are and at least try to warn Neltharion of their influence? Honestly kinda weird. but i never went doen that rabbit hole yet.
Hmm, good point.
To be fair, the Curse of Flesh did not happen by that point so they might be confident that the Titan blessings are enough to keep the dragons protected, but its a stretch
I think the old gods influence is powerful enough that even being aware of their capabilities doesn’t stop them from corrupting and twisting someone’s mind

NGL, I'd love a Neltharion/Deathwing novel, seeing N'Zoth's corruption from his PoV.
Too bad no one care about him or now him other than "big evil dragon destroy world" since no one read any novels of when he was actually good written char

I know it’s not exactly the same, but i’d recommend the war of the ancients trilogy or day of the dragon, both give some good death wing lore

They should just make games about old stories. Where you can participate in previous historical events, where they can be fleshed out more. Kinda like Ass Creed, where you speed through different characters, events, decades, centuries. They could even explain it away with some Bronze Dragonflight thing where you have to reexperience the main timeline or whatever.
Totally. I enjoyed the crap out of the legion invasion quests and the high mountain quest with Huln. Playing historical moments could be incredibly fun.

How quickly it was change from the story Aduin to deathwing.
I enjoyed the recap on Deathwing, but the HotS cinematics really throw me off out of the narrative.

Next part will go from sneaky, smart and manipulative Deathwing, into stupid, totally not sneaky and "i will destoruy the world....soon" Deathwing...like really before he was doing plans and stuff, and in cata he became just nothing like this, and there is big problem, that is that he will threaten to desttory the world around 20 times, but will never do it, even if he could do it, but he wont, becazuse its MMO

He’s also like legit immortal and the creator of blizzard also the guy that made warcraft said deathwing would be unkillable and what to be banish so question is on cataclysm where the heck we banish him too cause I want him back shadowlands is good and all but I miss the good ole days from cataclysm and everything before we need a new deathwing expac that was great as wrath and cata anyway tho I love deathwing and hope to see his return to try and take Azeroth down again or try to kill himself on wyrmresr temple

Story of Anduin Wrynn but it's actually Story of Deathwing. Deathwing is a black dragon, and so is Wrathion.

I still wonder how the hell did Deathwing and the Horde of Draenor just knew each other during the Beyond the Dark Portal incident.
Also I wonder if Doomhammer was still the warchief and not captured during the Beyond the Dark Portal, will he asked Deathwing to join the Horde, and if Deathwing did join the Horde will Deathwing treat Doomhammer's Horde like some peasants, will Doomhammer fucking kill Deathwing and behead him like some trophy?
The portal was open for a while before the Alliance stormed into Draenor, presumably news flowed through during that time.
let me guess Deathwing used his human disguise, that I always forget the name, to bargain with the Horde of Draenor or something.

Something that always bugs me about fictional worlds is calling the ground and dirt beneath them earth while the planet has a different name. Wouldn't Deathwing be in charge of Azeroth and not earth?
I think little-e 'earth' in middle english was used as a noun for dirt/ground, before it became an identifier for the world also.
But here that was the basis of naming this planet. This a totally different world so it makes no sense as to why they say that it's made out of earth but it's named Azeroth.

@@bryansuminski7543 - When referring to our planet we say Earth with a capital E, because it's a name. But earth is just plain earth.
Neltharion's demise was inaccurate. unknown to the denizens of azeroth, he had in fact crept into Anduin's chambers as he slept, following the ceremony honoring Saurfang. assuming his form, and spiriting the young king elsewhere, to an unknown location. it was in fact Neltharion who was captured by the mawsworn in stormwind. he allowed this in an effort to get in close to an oblivious Zoval. the power of domination was his true goal. meanwhile, Anduin is... missing...

Deathwing died in WarCraft II. My units blew him up. He didn't feigh death, he didn't flee into the ocean. He was dead and gone. I don't care about novels and Christie Golden. Cata is fan fiction.

Deathwing is one of the coolest characters in lore, along with Arthas as Lich King, Sargeras, Sylvanas, and Illidan.
Hopefully he is resurrected in the inevitable Void Lord expansion. We know Sinestra is still alive.

@@AdriatheBwitch there’s more than one game in the world ya mook. Plus he’s done so many WoW more videos he’s redoing the older ones now. Gonna have to see something other than WoW at some point if you want his channel to survive.
