It features a repetitive rhythm and a repeated refrain of "Clang, clang, clang on the anvil", which probably inspired the "Spam spam spam spam" refrain in the Python parody. The music is virtually the same during those refrains, though the lyrics differ in structure. Anyway, that's why there are singing Vikings. 😄
