I follow a lot of trickers on TH-cam and Instagram, and whenever I watch something I like, I add it to my list. After a year or so I have enough to make a compilation. I download vids with a mozilla add-on and in my video editor I make subclips of all the parts that I'm going to use.
why is it so very rare to see trickers with clean lines. like they have talent and conditioning, no doubt, but they often look like they are just flopping about. the kicks barely make it out (and would have no stopping power if they actually landed) and the form just looks sloppy all around. not always but very often. it seem like the focus is just to stay moving as long as possible and keep the momentum going. without a care for fully extending the limbs or even sticking the landing for that matter. i'm not saying i could do better, but i would like to see much more finesse and control. kind like how free runners are moving in relation to obstacles, then they are very precise and beautiful. fewer moves but better looking. like they don't try and do as much as possible, parkour people do just enough, and it looks great. my final comment is "frantic aint beautiful"
Tricking is different for everybody. For some, it's martial arts, for others it's all about doing moves with the highest difficulty, no matter what they look like, and for others it's like dancing, where the astethics means everything. To me, It's dancing. I love how Tricking LOOKS! And every clip in this vid, is pure eyecandy to me. Everyone has their preferences, so I don't really complain when people do tricks sloppy, but I do complain when people don't have any variety though, wich is a problem with a lot of trickers these days.
