Even I was born in a Sikh family Haweli in Peshawar. Haweli is still exists near Jhanda Bazaar near to Sethi Muhalla and it's around 160 years old. Yesterday I visited again at Sethi House museum. Mr. Khalid was my guide person and very and good photographer too 👏🏼😎. I just love the vibe of Heritage trail of Peshawar. I also visited Gor Gathri Museum. 16 February 2022 edited updated.

Beautifully showcased with extent of detail, you truly honored my family with your recognition. I was speaking to my father about my great great grandfather who built these 7 houses, preparing to go revitalize the memories going to see some of our houses in the next few days, and it truly made my heart swell to see the level of respect and appreciation shown here. Especially to see the impact that has bled through the generations, as we carry forward the legacy of trade. My baba was reminiscing on his times growing up visiting and staying in Peshawar walay ghar, this being the original residence he felt truly tied to. Alhamdullilah. Bless you brother. As Salam. 🙏💞🤲

I am from Delhi. Yaar mast shehr lgrha Peshawar, with so much culture & history. Ghar ho toh aisa. Kind of reminded me of Patwon Ki Haveli in Jaisalmer.

I am from peshawar and we had a same grand hawelli in asamai Gate ,but un fortunately my parents sold it and now it is turned in to a big circular market .I still rember the same red ,blue ,green mirror work in doors .it was far big and open mansion

This is one of the things PTI government has exceeded our expectations in. They have preserved a lot of history in Peshawar. I wish I could tell you how it smells in Andar Sheher. It has its own historic smell. You go back in time when walking there. Once I lost my way in Peepal Mandi looking for a Faysal Bank branch there and navigated through narrow streets using Google Maps to Hashtnagri BRT station. That was when I discovered the inner Peshawar and the nostalgic life there. It was my first time in 20 years feeling like I have gone back to my childhood days, because my mom probably walked me through these streets in those times. Idk why I almost cried on the way. It was a strange experience. No doubt Peshawar is the flagship city of KPK 😂

House just next to sethi house having that tin roof top is mine now its rented since i am shifted to another house..i have spent my whole childhood there and i never felt the importance of that place. Now when i see people making these kind of videos so i feel that i had no knowlege about the history of that place. I would love to visit my childhood place again. Soon IA ❤
