    Congrats Victor!!! To be honest I thought there is no way to beat Stybar in the sprint. I got goosebumps when you started overtaking. What a great finish! Well deserved!

    Good stuff Viktor, which I really really appreciate. You're missing a lot still (or leaving a lot of apples on the tree). For example, 1) combining altitude with sauna training (to increase plasma volume - that's what the best triathletes are doing now, aka Kristian Blumenfeld), 2) No info about how you phase/time your training from endurance @ altitude to more intense efforts. I like your high cadence openers, though. Great idea. Instead of relying on gels (lots of extra weight), I bring pre-mixed maltodextrin/fructose/salt/flavouring mix in powder form with me. It's much lighter and easily mixes with water that I find in mountain springs, etc. I also have the Airofit device and have been using it for about 6 months now. From what I've researched, it has a 4-6 week effect, which then stabilizes . . . so it's not necessary to use all the time. Just 4-6 weeks before your peak races. The software is very very good, as you say, but the E-unit (electronic/bluetooth part of the device) is shit. I'm on my 3rd one now - lots of problems with the battery.

    I don't want to seem annoying but i wonder if you might have an idea on the following topic. I'm 18, vo2 is 65, pulse treshold 191, max pulse, 208, lactic of 18.1 but my ftp is 214. Altough i had covid, a cold and a infection i think that's too low compared to my other numbers, i'm following a training plan by 4 months now, what am i doing wrong?

      Thanks for the replyes guys, i'm already coached. I got tested last year to see my potential by him and hungary's ex xcm national champ, the dude said "out of all hundrerds of people he would be in my top ten best, lacking power, but he needs a serious plan and he will be great". How much power can i put out in one year time, if i start base training and force in autumn and fix up my insomnia? I'm already at the age when people turn pro and i'm super demotivated.

    Wow...20 gels Victor!! How much carbs you fit in your body?🤣 I saw you in Huy, it seemed that you had a fall...I hope you are ok! Good luck for the last third of the season 🤞

    • @douglasbooth6836
      @douglasbooth6836 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think this is because you use more carbs at the higher heart rates than normal. Hopefully victor will give us his answer.

    • @vocsnor
      @vocsnor  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Carbs are key. Carbohydrate contribution is even higher at altitude compared to sea-level
