    You should visit Kerala in India, in terms of topography, democracy, rule of law and governance it is another Costa Rica.
    Unfortunately, many foreigners have an oriental perception of India. Those who have positive oriental perception end up overdoing Rajasthan state because they are only interested in seeing forts, palaces, 18th century bazaars and Hindu temples. Those, foreigners who have negative oriental perception of India are only interested in seeing slums in Delhi and Mumbai.
