Absolutely excellent video man. Learn so much from you. Any chance of showing the timing belt tutorial in detail buddy? And does the balancing belt require timing in fitments?
Nice build series, man! I've been considering rebuilding my h22a4 as well, however I have heard from local shops that the boring and honing of the frm lined sleeves tend to fail even when using the correct honing procedure and stone. I've been recommended to just sleeve the cylinders with cast iron liners instead of trying to go the overbore/hone route. Any thoughts? Did you do any cylinder work on this engine?

200 Compression on all 4 cylinders. And no leaks can’t complain.
Hi my exhaust side cam cap(behind dizzy) has been sheared off(on the lug that holds the stud that the valve cover tightens too. Is it OK to use a cam cap from a different h22a or can the bit that's sheared be welded back onto my original? Thanks
It’s just a cap so I don’t see why not if it fits it fits lol
Any idea what's torque spec for timing tensioner and all torque specs for that job ?

8:35 why didnt you put the sleevе inside tensioners pulley? Is the engine ok? It will not work man...
is safe to use honda bond on the threads of the bolts?
Depends on what bolts and it is safe if you torque them to spec. Anything more and you’re risking stripping them

what brand pistons and rods did you use?
Same rods, new oem pistons.
Why you using honda bond instead a thread locker ?
Threadlocker was used where threadlocker was needed, Hondabond was used where Honda stated.

Where is part 1 ?
Balance shafts are not needed. Free up about 5hp/3-4ftlbs and 1 or 2 mpg. Take your belt off.
Too much vibration without and prefer to keep things as oem as possible.
