Are we not going to address that Robert Knox wasn’t just stabbed to death but died an actual heroes death? He protected his younger brother and got stabbed in his place! R.I.P.
I was curious and googled it he intervened, between a guy with two kitchen knives threatening his 17 year old brother, outside the metro bar in sidcup. The murderer got life in prison, with a minimum of 20 years non parole period. Police reported that he showed no remorse for the crime.
Alan Rickman was indeed a fantastic actor. Well known for playing Hans Gruber in Die Hard, and his part in Love Actually among his great many film credits. RIP Alan Rickman.
Robbie Coltrane is another who will be widely missed. The burley Scottish actor and comedian had played a number of interesting roles in both TV and Cinema. He also presented his own travelogue where he traveled along the B-roads of Britain. Coltrane, although university educated and classically trained was always a huge supporter of the UK Labour party.
Helen McCrory is without doubt another huge miss to UK cinema audiences. Also known for portraying Cherie Blair in The Queen as well as appearing in Skyfall and Woman in Black 2 among her many other film credits. RIP Helen McCrory.
RIP all of them and Maggie Smith who we've just recently lost. Harry Potter was one of her best roles as Professor McGonigal. I was sad to hear about Robbie Coltrane when they announced his death too 2 years ago. 🙏
I am so, so sad for Warwick Davis' wife passing. They always looked a very strong couple to me, supporting each other through life. The whole Davis family played in several films together and they departing from their wife and mother is a hard blow. Behind a main actor and celeb there are oftentimes families who support each other. Without them they actors couldn't be playing their roles.
Add Minerva McGonagall to the list! 😭 Dame Maggie Smith passed away! Professor McGonagall was amazing! I am losing my childhood year after year! They made legends in Hogwarts through acting.
Alan Rickman was a great actor. Did you catch him in a very great movie " Something the Lord made" The supporting cast was also great in that movie. His Assistant I know, but don't know his name but did a great job of it. Back to Harry. Thank You for this video.
It's rather sad when you hear about people who were meant to be part of an adventure only to have their scenes get cut entirely not even shown as a deleted scene on the dvd extras. Then only a short time after you hear about it they pass away. I rekon Rik Mayall would have been great to see on-screen as the mischievous poltergiest Peeves. JK Rowling wrote stuff for him that I believe should have been included in certain films. But when the run time was going to be longer than they wanted they said nope cut the Peeves scenes altogether.
My mother died a couple years ago and she was in the same hospital as the actor of olivander and me and my dad went to a pub and we met him as the pub was empty
Alan Rickman said that he will read Harry Potter when he is 80 and his family will say after all this time and he will say Always. He didn’t even make it till 70 😢 RIP 🪦
@Twee13: The Book does infer that the Bloody Baron committed suicide after he killed Rowena Ravenclaw [ the Grey Lady ghost of Ravenclaw House and Tower ] because he was in love with her and she spurned his advances, out of remorse he killed himself, her blood still stains his clothes.
Damn are these movies cursed or what. Richard Harris will always be my favourite dumbledore he was just so sweet, thoughtful, kind, and considerate. Still makes me angry that Rik Mayall's scenes weren't featured.😢 He was such a talented hilarious actor and deserved recognition!
Loved Robbie Coltrane, he was great in a couple of Bond films as well. He later in life was huge, last I saw a interview with him he looked easily around 350lbs
Okay this list was not only longer then expected but their were a lot of younger deaths then I expected. Like a lot of the older crew were somewhat expected and it’s honestly surprising that so many of the older ones remain alive and kicking
I can honestly say that I cried when I heard the death of actor Robbie Coltrane. The series had such a lasting impact on me since I was around 7 or 8, especially a character who was always so warm, kind-hearted and humorous. "There's no Hogwarts without you Hagrid." 🥹 And there's no movie Hagrid without the Scottish-born actor Robbie Coltrane. He is simply irreplaceable, similar to the rest of the actors and actresses who starred in this beloved franchise. R.I.P to them all. 🥀🌂🧹
I remember that. I was just sitting in the quasi-library of the university (not a real library, because you can be loud there and there aren't many books) and I was chatting with friends on Facebook on the laptop, when someone behind me told me the news that a Harry Potter actor had died. We all immediately looked for him, and then it turned out that Robert's younger brother was involved in a fight in a pub, and he went to stop the attacker who pulled a knife, he tried to defend himself, but with little success, and later died of his injuries.
@EmP900: He stepped in to save his brother during an altercation outside a bar in Sidcup, South East London [ although prior to 1965 Creation of Greater London it was in Kent ], the man who murdered him, Karl Norman Bishop was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum 20 year parole board.
Rik Mayall was a legend. Currently rewatching Bottom and lamenting that we lost him too young (Americans would know him as Drop Dead Fred, which is an awesome movie he really brought to life). There's a number of British household names there who were irreplaceable.
Even though Robbie Coltrane is no longer with us we still have Hagrid and Alan Rickman did such a good job playing Severus snape they are deeply missed
Rest in peace Dame Maggie Smith 🪄
I'm still sad about Alan Rickman to this day. He's always been one of my favourite actors. ❤
Are we not going to address that Robert Knox wasn’t just stabbed to death but died an actual heroes death? He protected his younger brother and got stabbed in his place! R.I.P.
RIP to a group of people who brought wonderful, beloved characters to life. We will miss all of you.
The really sad one is the young actor stabbed to death at 18.
I was curious and googled it he intervened, between a guy with two kitchen knives threatening his 17 year old brother, outside the metro bar in sidcup.
The murderer got life in prison, with a minimum of 20 years non parole period.
Police reported that he showed no remorse for the crime.
Robert Knox 😟

Almost everyone here's talking about Alan Rickman. And I'm just here, sad for the young man stabbed to death at 18yo. Poor boy.
Robert Knox 😟
Helen McCrory is without doubt another huge miss to UK cinema audiences.
Also known for portraying Cherie Blair in The Queen as well as appearing in Skyfall and Woman in Black 2 among her many other film credits.
RIP Helen McCrory.
I just heard about the Passing of Maggie Smith this friday morning. RIP.
Rest in Peace. You were good people.
You forgot Roger Lloyd-Pack aka Barty Crouch...
Alan Rickmans passing feels like it just happened yesterday, so many actors from the films are now gone.
He was such a good character.
And now, Maggie Smith, Professor McGonagall, Has joined the next great adventure.
I took Alan Rickman's passing personally.
RIP all of them and Maggie Smith who we've just recently lost. Harry Potter was one of her best roles as Professor McGonigal. I was sad to hear about Robbie Coltrane when they announced his death too 2 years ago. 🙏
Maggie Smith passed away today, September the 27th 2024.
Ngl, that list was a whole lot longer than I expected. So many great actors passed away since then, insane.
Alan Rickman was a great choice to play severus Snape. I still feel sad to this day. 😢
So many talented actors R.I.P.
Man... Make sure you tell your loved ones you love them everyday ❤you never know if it might be there last or your last
RIP. Maggie Smith. Actor Mcgonagall
Alan is still missed. A great and talented man. RIP.
Honestly Sam Beasley was lucky, not many people die in their sleep. IMO that’s the ideal way to go since it’s the most peaceful way.
Rip Maggie Smith
Is no one talking about how Robert Knox was stabbed to death at the age of 18 after he went in front to save his poor brother??
Here's a new one. Maggie Smith aka Minvera McGonagall 2024
And Now we lost Professor McGonnagal
RIP Maggie Smith
It is always sad to lose wonderful creative people like these, they give so much to us in a world that is sadly lacking in humanity.
RIP Maggie Smith❤
And now as of September 27, 2024 Maggie Smith is the next to have passed. May her sweet soul rest in peace😔
Now you can add Maggie Smith to the list
Add Minerva McGonagall to the list! 😭
Dame Maggie Smith passed away!
Professor McGonagall was amazing! I am losing my childhood year after year! They made legends in Hogwarts through acting.

Robbie Coltrane and Alan Rickman are missed. Sad to see the young actor deaths and 2 Dumbledore actors
RIP Maggie Smith 😢😢
27.09.2024 - Maggy Smith. R.I.P.
Richard Harris was one of a kind. I grew up with his movies.
The "Fat Lady" actress, was in the 1st film. Dawn French, played the role in the 3rd film & is still very-much-alive.

Alan Rickman and Richard Harris were the greatest actors. May they rip

Olivander is important because he gave Harry his instrument of magic almost like a sword or a light saber
11:59 The 2 Daughters of Eve and 2 Sons of Adam are on that train.
John Hurt - Bishop Alien
Helen MacCrory - Tia Polly ( Peaky Blinders )
And today sadly Maggie Smith is added to the list.
To all may you rest in peace, you will be remembered in this magical world 😢😢
7:54 Just like in the book. We never find out how the Bloody Baron died!

Please. I beg you. Don’t let the Harry Potter franchise die
Michael Gambon was Dumbledore # 2, the late Richard Harris originated the role in the first 2 films untl he died, I think people forget that.
R.I.P robbie
Robert was in wrong place 😭😭😭
So many fabulous iconic actors and characters. ❤❤❤
It’s sad to see characters who died in the movies but feeling like they fully died when their actors passed living on through the parts they played
3:59 Robert Knox! Why and how!
He was stabbed outside a nightclub, he was protecting his younger brother from a man who was armed with two kitchen knives 😞
I remember that. I was just sitting in the quasi-library of the university (not a real library, because you can be loud there and there aren't many books) and I was chatting with friends on Facebook on the laptop, when someone behind me told me the news that a Harry Potter actor had died.
