Mr. Snyder, good to see you again. I agree with you about "once upon a...." compilation CD. The thing about Greatest Hits is that you can have an idea about a band, even better if you can find non albums songs (b sides, live songs) or like "Move Over" in this case. No dog, he’s a cat and his name is Noodle. Occasionally he gets too involved and causes me to have to re-start my shoot because he’s being obnoxious haha.

Great review. I agree with you on Once Upon being the better of the 2 which is why I’ve never purchased Rocked.
Yeah, I did it for completist reasons and just to have an alternate editing.
I'm a huge fan of Cinderella. Love the first four albums. I also own Once Upon... I have a question for you. Are you a fan of Stryper? If so, I'm sure you would do an amazing review of their history. If not, no problem. I'll keep watching.
I am a fan of Stryper and Michael Sweet. When they release their new album I’ll be doing a review of it and will incorporate history as part of. Thanks for watching!

Cinderella is one of my favorites. I wish they got as much attention as Poison. But since the band doesn’t tour and stay in the public eye with new archival releases they’re kind of pushed to the second tier of bands which is unfortunate.

Hi Brendon, just a suggestion. Do consider to review the best rock albums throughout the years (e.g. 86 to 92). I would love to hear your reflections upon the peak of the melodic rock era 🤘🏻🎸
Good idea. I’ve long thought about my two favorite years ‘89 and ‘91. And even though grunge had hit already ‘92 was still a good year even though most of those albums got lost in the shuffle. I’ll one together this weekend.

Hi Brendon. This Cinderella Live At The Mohegan Sun you have in background is it really released in jewel case? I thought it only comes in digipack? I hate digipack but i am after a jewel case version
Haha...you’re like me then! I can’t stand digipacks as the cardboard gets beat up so easily. Yes the version I have is in a jewel case. It was issued through Frontiers records.
@@BrendonSnyder And its a shame many albums is been released in digipack these days. Okay it's not a south american version what is licensing from Frontiers in Italy, because on discogs it says it is in digipack. But maybe it was the first version so maybe i should order it now and hope it will come in jewel case
Mine is a US edition from the Frontiers label so maybe that’s why it’s in a jewel case. I bought it when it first came out too. You could also check ebay where they show more photos of the product to confirm if it’s in a jewel case.
Night Songs was a masterpiece!!!
RWnB is the better one for me. It's one of the best GH albums out there. Personally I could care less about a cover song not being on a GH album as those albums should be only about THE BANDs work, not random cover songs. Plus I like when GH albums don't just focus on the hits. That's boring and predictable. Adding some deeper cuts gives you a better overall view of the talent of said band. There are some bands where the deep cuts are equal to or even better than the songs that were released as singles.
I’m a completist and anything with Tom singing and sounding like Cinderella works for me even if it’s a cover. Plus I grew up on the Once Upon A Time collection so I probably favor that one more. But I agree with you that having deep cuts can make a best of not so boring sometimes as just hearing radio hits can get old after awhile.

The album wasn’t recorder for their original label Mercury otherwise they might have an incentive to release it or bundle it into a boxset. In 1999 the band signed to Sony Records but never released the album. Same label and situation for the 3rd Damn Yankees album. The only band to get singed and actually released an album was Ratt. Then it all feel apart as quickly as the label tried jump starting glam metal again.

Both bands actually. Just bought the first second Coney Hatch albums during lockdown. I also bought the latest Carl Dixon solo record as well.
The Cinderella Once Upon A Best Of is the only one I got... Main reason was I had cadettes of the four albums... It also had a newer song War Stories.... Besides the Rock Wired Bluesed compilation there's two other compilations one being 20th Century remasters...
Yeah there are a few other but the band wasn’t involved with them and they didn’t promote them so I only consider Once Upon A... and Rocked Wired & Bluesed as “official”.
When I listen to the album tracks on youtube, compared to the Rock , Wired & Bluesd , the RW&B seems to have a thicker sound, like more bass. Do you know if that compilation had some minor tweaking done to the sound? Or is that maybe just a TH-cam upload issue
I think it’s just youtube as far as I know. I didn’t hear about anything done to them. It’s also not remastered. But the mix is louder than Once Upon A... probably just because they are ten years apart.

I’ll reply to you both here....one, I wish TH-cam had a DM feature for these kinds of questions. That said, yes I like all three of those bands. In fact I’ve reviewed the latest Lynyrd Skynyrd live album on my channel and the Iron Maiden boxset Eddies Archives as well. As soon as a new release from Queensryche happens they will get a review as well. Although I might do a review for the self titled release since I’ve got a limited boxset edition of it.
