Sir, what does this Sequential Modular mean?
Aspen always solves streams according to their names? Or by the time we added them? Or by their location in the flow sheet and if so how does aspen know where to start from in the first place?
Dear Ahsan,
It depends on the position of equipment in the flowsheet. e.g., if multi-stage compression is installed, it will first solve compressor, then heat exchanger, then flash separator of the 1st stage, and then will move to the 2nd stage.

Hello Sir! Thank you for all your videos. It has been very helpful. I am simulating an Extractive Distillation process and I need to recycle the solvent. I have increased the number of iterations and tried the different Tear calculation options available and still doesn't converge. Please I need your help.
