  • This is a full and honest review of an IVECO based Liner for two. The model is the 6.7t I53L which is the long base vehicle at 8.67 metres long. Here we show the outside and the inside of the liner along with other additions that have been purchased to make the motorhome stay longer off grid and some upgrades that the owner thought necessary. If you have any questions or comments please post below. We hope you find the video informative, lighthearted and enjoyable.

    I really enjoyed watching this. Just two mates talking bollocks 😂. That’s the best set up MH I’ve ever seen. Hope you are having a great time.

      😂😂 I do think that Tony (the owner) spoke more bollocks than I did. 😂😂 Glad you enjoyed it though and he certainly has kitted it out well, with more kit to be added in the future. We are having a cracking time here in Cyprus. As you can imagine Cyprus hardly gets motorhome visitors, especially from the UK, and have attracted a lot of attention which is nice. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching. 👍

      Hi @retroi423. 😂😂 On reflection it does seem a tad blokey. But it was meant to be as informative as possible for anyone considering purchasing the Liner for two. A massive part was the cab area which we purposely didn't cover as we thought that was going to be too blokeyish. 😂 Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment.

    Is the UV water filtration system an option or added in by the owner?
    Also, why use all those external batteries, doesn't this come with offgrid batteries to run those items?
    Also Also, is there an option to have a different TV, same size etc, but with ports to power a chromecast or a PS4? Or is it a special 12v model for motorhomes?

    • @laikalikers9570
      @laikalikers9570  4 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Hi Steve thanks for watching. The uv filtration system is after market fitting by the owner ( and uses power to power the UV light system). There are alternative systems like in line water systems we have in our Laika (no power consumption required). However, the UV system in the Liner for two filters all the water rather than the inline systems which generally filter the tap it is fitted too. The L42 only comes with 1 x 80ah battery as standard (which is no-where near enough) that you can optionally upgrade at time of purchase to 3 x 80ah batteries (which is still not enough if you are a heavy power user like us). The TV is 12 volt and has a separate box (hidden behind a panel that you have to remove) which has ports for PS4 or fire sticks or Chromecasts. But is a Pfaff rather than having ports directly on the TV. The TV make is an Alphatronics. Hope that's helpful.

We will look for somebody that may be able to help and if we find someone we'll pass on the details here.

    A beautiful unit of which we are about to place an order. We do prefer the shorter version. There don't seem to be any used ones around which is a testimony that the owners love or like them enough to keep them.

      Hi Mark, thanks for the comment. Tony indeed has a nice power setup. Power is everything when you are in your motorhome as long as we are and we like to have as much power as we can get, especially when there is no sun about. The washing machine can be purchased from Amazon (there are many models to choose from). The boxes are from ebay. Keep watching the channel as we will be making a video reviewing items that are essential for long term living in a motorhome. Thanks for watching. 👍

    • @laikalikers9570
      @laikalikers9570  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi @@markhowie7357 . Yes that is correct. Tony has two sets of ecoflow products. He has two Ecoflow Delta Max's, (which were used in his previous MH) and has now installed 2 Ecoflow Delta Pro's in the Carthago. He uses the the Pro's, as you have described, as they are permanently in the MH. The Max's are more portable and they are used elsewhere when required. However, if the Pro's are running low he (and we) can utilize the Max's to do the same thing (as we also have 2 delta Max's), albeit with less overall maH than the Pro's. Hope that helps. 😃👍

    • @laikalikers9570
      @laikalikers9570  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Tony. Thanks for watching. Yes, that is a fire stick connected to the TV in the bedroom. The fire stick comes with an extension. That HAS to be used otherwise the fire stick interferes with the TV locking mechanism. It's a bit of a Pfaff but you can get it in there. A pair of long nose pliers would be very helpful. That way you don't have to remove the TV. Hope that helps.

      Hi Sharon. Unfortunately the owners of the Moho are back in the UK currently and we won't be hooking up with them until later this year. It was an oversight not showing the bed in operation and thought, at the time, that it wouldn't be of interest. Tony, the owner, has had it a tad longer now and I'm sure we'll do an update to that video in the coming months. So please keep an eye out for it. Thanks for watching.

      Hi Sue. The Carthago (well, particularly this one) did not come with any solar panels. It comes with the wiring already in place to take solar panels but they are an option on a new liner for two. Hi there, we are seriously considering buying one exactly like this next year . As for quality and design cathargo liner for two probably is the best out there by far. But theres something worrying us thats potentially preventing us buying it. Our question to the owner is, are there lists of bespoke sites in Europe to park these expensive liners like for example concierge in Chichester.
    Thanks G&G.

    • @laikalikers9570
      @laikalikers9570  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi G&G. Firstly, thanks for watching and hope that it was informative. The owner (we call him Bowlsey) has not had a smooth ride in owning the vehicle to be honest. From new there have been a LOT of issues with the motorhome and I'm sure he wouldn't mind me saying that. However, almost ALL new motorhomes will have issues and he would not swap it for any other vehicle (apart from a Morelo if it had a rear lounge). To answer your question, we have been on a 6 month journey from the UK to Cyprus , taking in France, Italy, Greece and Turkey too. From memory there wasn't anywhere that he couldn't park the motorhome. Yes, there were some tight places but on the whole 90% of the time it wasn't an issue. But, please bear in mind that in Europe the majority of campsites are not 5 star such as concierge. Laikalikers.

      Hi G&G. I just wanted to say that another couple of motorhomes that you should definitely consider are Morelo and the Niesmann & Bischoff Flair 880. Both top quality motorhomes. They don't have a rear lounge but they are magnificent motorhomes. Laikalikers.
