The new UCI Mountain Bike World Series includes the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup for Cross-country Olympic (XCO), Cross-country Short Track (XCC), Cross-country Marathon (XCM), Downhill (DHI), Enduro (EDR) and E-enduro (E-EDR).

What a GREAT race from her! She lead the race during maybe 80% of it and she made something pretty rare in XCC, a lonely breakaway with several seconds of advance.
A pleasure to see a new victory for the winner of the XCC rankings AND of the overall of the world cup 2022.

And another great race from Keller today, again on the podium, 3rd, making the hope to keep the Olympic title in Switzerland 🇨🇭🥇 totally believable.
BUT, talking about this, never before I saw Jolanda Neff, still olympic champion for 2 more months but not after cause, crazy thing, she, this season, is one of the worst Swiss mountainbikers after having been the best of them for so many years, and as now, even the nation ranked n°1 in the world 💯🐐since many many years and who won 4 of the 6 olympic medals in Tokyo including 🥇🥈🥉for women, have only 2 places in the Olympics... she won't b there; and neither Sina Frei, Olympic VICE-champion in title.

I don't know how Scott Sram can renew Kate Courtney's contract. I've been following her closely for a few seasons now and she does not perform. She just a number
I agree, there are so many faster riders that could represent Scott Sram far better, contesting for podiums and pushing the brand. It makes no sense having KC on that bike as it is a prestigious position that she is denying another athlete.
Rumour has it that her wealthy parents contribute money to the Scott team, and perhaps that is the reason.
Do they consider her an influencer who races? If she brings in the sales that way then she is providing value even if she doesn't win races. Its all a commercial decision and how much value someone brings to the table. She is American and people like to support their own and that is a huge market with a lot of money washing around.
I live in the SF bay area, same general area where she lives and she is pretty popular here and very recognizable on the trails since she has a Rebull helmet. Probably selling a few sparks, plenty of people with money in the area.
She's a consistent top 10/20 finisher and there just aren't that many of those...
Or she just has a huge social media following that contributes much more to the brand than a race that no one can even watch@@jonoharper4729
