My son had a cat that spent time with him instead of it's "owner". When the owner moved 35 miles away, the cat came back to my son, exhausted, hungry, and happy. It took him 2 weeks, through the foothills of the San Gabriel mountains, where there are more coyotes than people. He was an amazing cat!

@@pommiebears I own an animal shelter & based on experience all cats are unique and I too had missing cats for years. Some of them just look for new masters around the neighborhood, others went out and never came back. I usually think female cats are the most loyal coz they tend to stay with their masters all their lives except for one female cat who found a new master just a few blocks away & I haven't seen her for months now. Her mom, siblings and kittens paid me a visit from time to time. It turns out they are staying at a neighbor who feeds stray cats & dogs as well. As much as I want them to stay with me but I already have over 2 dozens of cats and I am glad someone is feeding them as it is not cheap to feed that many felines.

i remember when i losed my cat,i had a beautiful tiger-boy,he used to come and sleep every night in my bed,wherever i was gone the cat was always with me,he was my best friend.he missed 9 months from home,i'm 35 and i cried like a little boy when i saw every night that the bed was empty and my Tomycat was nowhere.i thought he will never come back,nothing was the same without him,i couldn't do anything without him.after 9 months i had the biggest surprise of my life,i found him meowing at my window.

Yes, all animals have feelings. Even the birds I feed in my garden know who I am, and the female bird now comes up to me to get my attention and "tell me" that she's hungry!
@@amandajones6481 I also feed animals (mostly bird and squirrels), and they'll alert other animals of my presence. "Food Girl© is here!". They'll typically eat the food I leave out before I get back to my room (less than 30 seconds). My Dad buys me a new bag of seeds and peanuts 🥜 every ~3 days or so.

I joined the navy and I had a German shepherd husky cross that my parents took care of when I was away. I came home for leave and I didn't come back to the main house on the property I came down to where my brother was living and the tenant house which was 400 yd away from the main house. I got out of the car I said something to my brother and the dog actually heard me and my father told me he flipped out he flipped out like my father never saw him do before so in the next 10 minutes I went backup to the main house and had an awesome Visit with my beautiful Nikki German shepherd husky cross . God-bless you nicki I miss you.❤💜😎😁

There is no other feeling like the unconditional love from an animal.
I was deployed for 7 months, my dog was use to me being gone once in a while for short periods of time but the second day I was gone my wife told me that the dog took her bed and dragged it to the front door and slept there for the next 7 months till I got home. She was beyond exited when I got home and and did a 10' flying leap into my arms howling like the beagle in one of the vids. She also wouldn't let me out of her sight for the next 2 weeks.... I couldn't even go to the bathroom without the dog by my side.

This makes me want to have my cat microchipped. She is my ONLY companion. She is a house cat. She ONLY ever goes out in the carrier (usually to the vet). Yet at age 12 it is a big temptation.
Makes me cry to see all of the happy reunions. I wish that I could have found my two dogs that were taken from my yard more than twenty years ago, I will forever miss them.

The cat who belonged to the young boy was missing for 5 weeks, not 5 years. It was in the subtitles! It is awful when pets go missing though. I had a gorgeous kitty called Smudge, who my dad found as a tiny kitten. Smudge loved everyone ❤️ and he loved getting into cars, drawers, cupboards, everywhere really. Then, one day, he went missing and we never saw him again 😢 😔 💔. I have always hoped that someone kind took him, but I don't understand how anyone could do such a thing.

Your cat was male right? Was it neutered/spayed? If not, most male cats leave home to find mate and never come back.
A dog is one thing (all the adorable and heartwarming freaking out they do after being apart from the owner for so long) but a horse or donkey is something else.
There’s something about a bond with as majestic and powerful an animal as a horse that gives me all kinds of feels.
And donkeys, the way they literally shout with delight and come running over all ecstatic ahhhhh I love animals! 😭❤️

I think someone is trying to play these reunions up. The narrator say 5 years for a boy and his cat, but the caption says 5 weeks. Somethings not right. I do love the reunions though.
One 4th of July i found a tiny old dog running the streets of my neighborhood. I had a toddler at the time i was teaching Spanish to the dog would not listen to me but he would perk up when she heard me talking to my daughter so i tried speaking to her in Spanish sure enough she listen. So to ensure i gave her back to real owner i posted her to fb 19 days later a woman contact me it was definitely her dog the moment she heard her voice the dog was an entire new being... To this day it was one of greatest thing I've experienced

Me and my family took in a Ragdoll cat that was very skinny. It turned out that he was living in an apartment and had accidentally fallen out of an open window and had been missing for six months. I was so happy that we were able to return the cat to his owner, who cried when she finally got to see him again.
