Dear Angel, I was just about to write the same thing! These people were so kind and gentle weren't they? I was amazed by that Puffer Fish 🐡! It seemed to know that the diver was helping it - the way it just stayed there with its mouth open until he got the hook out, and it didn't puff up or get aggressive in any way!!! And they can really hurt you if they want to! This one obviously didn't. Lots of love from Amanda in Melbourne, Australia ❤

You knows, the second fish, when he was being rescued he did not use his spikes just like he knows the human is helping him.

The reason why no spikes is cuz the fish needs an air bubble to expand its body & its spikes come out with it. He needs oxygen from outside the water to form that bubble. If no air bubble then no spikes can be used.
It's very very simple common sense.

I love animals because they can't be with any possibility cruel, intentionally bad as some people are
The guy climbing the tree with the bucket was something else
Last summer here in vancouver bc Canada. It was plus 40 for a week. For us in the west coast it was hot but for the crows and other animals it was torture. So after the first day i decided to place a 2 gallon plastic bucket out in the grass outside if our apartment. Every morning i would change the water and give them fresh water. You should have seen the crows drinking and bathing in the water. That night a mother racoon and her 4 babies enjoyed a cool bath in the water. The crows and sqirles never went far from the bucket. One evening i placed the hose out our kitchen window to water the tree at 1 am in the morning and realized the family was having a wonderful shower. They must have stayed there for 10-15 minutes.
A little thought put i to action goes a long way. When it comes to those animals in need.
Ps: that entire summer the crows and wild animals knew where to find water to drink. And a quick bath to wash there dirty feet.
I love Crows ,we get a group of 5 every year when nesting, and to see and hear those babies come for their food is so lovely.
must have been a wonderful sight, we love watching the little birds sit under the bird baths while the bigger ones splash and the drops fall on them
I do that too for the birds, and other animals I feed in my yard. If it's really hot I put the sprinklers on for them, and they really enjoy it. The Mourning Doves will practically lay on top of it, stretching their wings to get them real wet.

Although this is heartwarming to see, what saddens me is how many of these were necessary because "We can't be arsed to clean up our trash."

I remember about 20 years ago I heard this flapping sound outside my office window where I worked. I went outside and there was a cockatoo (a big white Australian bird) entangled in the ropes of a disused flagpole. I got some welding gloves from the factory out the back and I held the bird while my co worker cut the ropes with some tin snips. Lucky I had gloves on because it was biting my hands the whole time (they have big strong beaks). We got it free and it flew off and landed in a tree. I cut the ropes of the other flagpole too so this wouldn't happen again.

good for you,many moons ago during my tenure in the US Coast Guard while tending a base lawn,I noticed a seagull walking gingerly... as I approached,it didn't fly away as per usual... when I came upon it I observed a game dart stuck under one it's wings... I pulled the dart out and the creature didn't bite or put up a fight... I guess it realized I was trying to help... afterwards it flew away...

I rescued a cat. I called her Numby. She was my world. I had to put her down a few years ago. I was with her as she passed on. I sobbed! I didnt sob , sadly, when both my parents passed. Im ashamed but knew that my cat adored me.
