Big Bucks in Alfalfa - Saddle Hunting Success!

In a year without acorns, finding the food source is the name of the game! In this area a late frost in the spring has prevented the white oaks from having acorns this fall so our attention shifted to alfalfa. After a few observation sits and trail cameras deployed we found them!

What kind of stand or whatever you are hunting out of? Doesnt look comfortable at all. Nice but to by the way.

It’s a tree saddle. Tethrd phantom to be exact, they’re great for quick hunts and don’t require the same types of trees like tree stands. In fact, we couldn’t have hunted that tree in a stand due to hard lean. They’re actually comfortable and can help avoid back pain if setup correctly
