I honestly believe that by blurring certain scenes you do a disservice to anyone who wishes to view this historical event dealing with the most brutal, obscene, and vicious treatment of human beings that I can’t even imagine. It’s important to keep everything real and to never forget or repeat. That’s why it’s just as important to present the video uncensored.

I really appreciate the video on Croatia, my Grandmother was there in WW2 and the war was a subject never to be spoken about around her. Really enjoyed learning about it.
These should be shown to our students so they can fully understand the horrors of fascism.

RE: Sanitizing Footage -- Do you know how the Holocaust is forgotten? How it becomes an urban legend that leads to the kinds of events as seen at American universities in the spring of '24? It happens when you cater to the yuck-avoidance sensibilities of those who don't like to be uncomfortable, who don't want to recognize genuine evil, and who don't want to learn where we came from so we're not repeating the same mistakes. Historians, documentarians, and archaeologists are the very people who are supposed to keep the horrors of World War II in the consciousness of the public at large. By playing into this cleaner and less profound version of the Holocaust, you create the likes of Aryan Nations, you give mostly peaceful ammunition to aimless college kids who need to feel like they're making a difference in the world, and you condemn present and future generations to the gallows.
I assume you’re talking about pro-Palestinian protests condemning Israel’s ongoing genocide. Many of the peaceful protesters beaten and arrested at my university were students and faculty from the anthropology and history departments. In fact, a large collection of Jewish faculty and administrators at my university came together to write a letter condemning suppression of Pro-Palestinian protests on campus. I have many anti-Zionist friends who also happen to be Jewish. YOU are the one attempting to erase history and distract from the slaughter occurring in Gaza. There were also no credible reports of antisemitic incidents at the university. There were, however, pro-genocide counter protesters screaming racial slurs at pro-Palestinian protesters. Historians and archaeologists are preserving the horrible events of the Holocaust. They are also condemning and documenting the genocide in Gaza. These two things are not mutually exclusive.
The footage is censored because TH-cam stated they can and will remove any videos like this that show anything

HistoryHit/WarStories/Timeline (and YT) need to remember their audience and not cater to people who don't like it when an image makes them feel yucky or sad. Good Vibes-types, with their massive Good Vibes followings aren't going to suddenly start watching programs like this when they can get their attention fix from a vapid instagram post.

For everyone who is watching it: you need to know that there are some countries in the world which treat the murderers who served in the death camps as heroes and create all the possible obstacles to bring these people to court. These countries are: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Canada and even USA who accepted hundreds of the former Nazis to work in CIA and FBI . People should know the countries whose governments support the Nazis. And the EU authorities, same as USA, just close their eyes on it. Ask your governments why they are doing it!
The USA hired the CO of Unit 731 (rather than put up against a wall) because we needed the bio-war data during the Cold War.
Estonia, Latvia, Lithunia and Ukraine did not like the USSR because they invaded them and killed a lot of people. Of course sone of the people collaborated with Germany just to get independence.

Very good documentary. It shows the connection of the modern Croatia with the Ustasha regime. And the role of the Catholic church is disgraceful,it helped Pavelich and Shakich to escaped unpunished. Jasenovac is deserted place nowdays,devastated by the new ustashas.
This documentary did not tell at all of the similar attrocities in Ukraine at WWII with Stephan Bandera and the attrocities done against the Russian population today by Ukrainian solders who are still wearing swastika with the blessing of the British and the French attorities
