@@xFlared almost right... But almost is still wrong. What you see is joy. Happiness is something you find that comes from outside yourself. As such it is temporary at best. Joy in the other hand comes from within and is rendered from the choices we make. The irony is that to feel joy, we only need to choose to feel it.

Everything is equalized and we all share this experience together regardless of what we like or don't like about our lives. In fact happiness is understanding that suffering is good, because it is because of pain, suffering and negativity that we can find the reference to what is good. Ying yang. One cannot exist without the other. Therefore happiness is understanding that life as is is already at its absolute ideal perfection no matter what happens. This is why happiness isn't something that is reached or attained. We are already happy, the issue is that we don't realize this because we are asleep by attaching ourselves too much to materialism and social recognition. We are focusing too much on the external and in doing so separate us from all other things in our reality, creating distortion and facade pretending we are all different when in reality we are completely identical. In Hinduism this is referred to as Brahman, or one consciousness living through us all.
This is some of the best handpan playing I've ever heard. I literally opened the box for my first handpan today! I've wanted for about 10 years. This is super inspiring!

Still to this day, this is by far the best handpan playing I've ever seen. And this video inspired me to buy my own handpan in wishes to be as great as you. Your music speaks to my soul and many others. Incredible.

Sadly those are pretty expensive. In germany they basicly start at 1,5k for the "a bit better ones". But ill get one aswell. its awesome to play and not that hard to start with

This man's facial expressions are absolutely fantastic to watch, the emotional connection he has with his music is outstanding, it's just a joy to look at and listen to.
I just received my first handpan and this is the track I send everyone to when they ask "what's a handpan?" It just has it all...
BTW, for those interested, Malte has put the full notation for this song in Notepan. I've found it a fascinating way to actually see all the variety of rhythms and melodies he builds around common chord themes.
Without talent like this, the handpan is just a pan. I love how you hit the top for some bass.

A little known fact is that you can do this in some forests, and it will attract monks. I had one come right up and meditate near me. It helps if you leave out some tea and a bowl of rice. They become more docile if you nourish them.

My young sister died few weeks ago.. While she was on her bed rest, she requested me to buy handpan instrument (and i had no clue what was it) until she passed away and me logging in her macbook to find out this youtube video.

There's also lot of movements and note patterns here that aren't too rhythmically different from what's common in metal! It's really all kinds of amazing. I need to go look if there's any metal songs that use this instrument now lol

I saw some musicians using that technique in other videos and it causes the note to quiver/waver (I’m not sure of the right word for that affect). A brilliant show of skill and genius as you mentioned.
