Out of all the tunes. Nice to see that this one was left untouched!. Was looking forward to summer forest the most (Spyro 2 is my favorite of the trilogy), was not disappointed!.

I think I might like these cutscenes alot more than the originals.
Not to take anything away from them, but Reignited being more expressive goes along way.

The animation for this part is better than the original since it actually highlights Hunter's claws and teeth.

I felt I had to get a PS4 when Crash N Sane Trilogy released, which I did. Well worth the purchase, awesome remake. I look forward to Spyro!
They kept the words to the intros, verbatim (and then some).
And still it's quality holds up.
I still smiled at Gulp hitting Ripto and Hunter spitting fire at Alora.
As far as i can tell, this is a GREAT remake!

So much memories 😍😍😍😍 but have to say for the intro where sparks and spyro talk about dragon shores I prefer the original cause it was dark and gloomy just amazing but this is amazing too but obviously it's not what I grew up with but it still looks amazing

Hmm I notice that the first cutscene of spyro in the rain is Spyro at the Stone Hill world. Which to me is cool and weird because in the original the world spyro was in was the Dragon Worlds. Now he's in stone hill interesting.
Watching this makes me feel like a child again :-)
WoW Gregg Berger still have it after all those years, unlike the other Ripto from Enter the dragonfly who was kinda weird, i can't say the same of Tom Kenny but still is a nice touch of being him rather than anyone else.
I think he voiced ripto in etd.
@@Tyrik73 Yes he did, that's why i mention it but it was unnecesary different from the original, i though it would be that voice for this game instead so it really surprised me to see the same voice from almost twenty years.

I’m a little bit too late for the original trilogy (was born in the same years as Spyro) so playing this version of the trilogy is just PERFECT!

U.S. name is better and Gateway to Glimmer doesn't make much sense as you're only visiting like twice in the whole game, then never again... more like Gateway to Avalar.
I remember spending so much time in this level flying into the cave to by pass climbing the ladder
i like how the player looks around to show us the levels. i've already seen some videos from players who just plow through without a second thought, which is very annoying

I like the art and everything but when the camera rotates it's hard on the eyes and head. Everything becomes so blurry.

I remember renting this game back in 1999. I was also deliriously sick at the time so "remember" needs to be massively qualified.
Ripto's Rage would be my go-to game if the CD was not so badly scratched.
Every single time I watch one of these gameplay videos I get nostalgia so hard tears start flowing.

The animation is amazing but I will still prefer the old character design and some of the voices and scenes just don't beat the original S2.
The faces may be more expressive but the voices aren't so much. Is Tom Kenny even voicing Spyro and the Professor?
That being said, the game play looks fun as hell.
In Europe, this game was called ‘Gateway to Glimmer’ which if you ask me, is a way better title than ‘Ripto’s Rage’ lol
nah riptos rage is perfect
Dizz it's alliterative and appeals to the target audience, but there's something about 'gateway to glimmer' that is just so much more mystical to me

Ratchet and Clank needs a proper remaster if they make one.
This game inspires me to have Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 remastered and have a version of the PS1 classic, but with remastered versions of games like Crash Bandicoot and have all theses rematered beauties to play on a plug n' play console that goes all out with its concept and not have it do the bare minimum like the PS1 classic is doing next month.
Did Elora get the same voice actress as Dark Willow from Dota 2? They sound just alike and even have similar voice lines and character designs.

Joe West the Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy has 3 platinum trophies for each game so I’m assuming Spyro will have 3 platinum trophies as well.

Heh HUH HUH HUH Huh Heh If you are referring to Tom Kenny then yes. His voice sounds a bit different though probably because he is older.
If its anything like the originals Spyro will sound older by the third game. It seems Tom tried to keep his voice as similar to Carlos in the first game as he could, and deepened it for each of the following

While I’m please to hear the Professor’s voice, Rypto sounds a bit off compare to the original PS1 version.
It's the same voice actor, just aged a bit. (I'm actually ok with getting a separate voice actor for Hunter this time around).
Makes a lot of sense. Some actors still got it yet they age a little.
