Norbert - I am still listening to this. To keep my own life in check and because it is one of the most beautiful recordings I've ever heard. They say people die twice. The first time when they physically leave us and the final time when no one ever speaks of them again. This keeps your sister alive forever.
I wish I could thank Norbert Leo Butz for being a small bright spot in my life right now. I've been sick this year, and have spent quite a bit of time in the hospital. NLB's voice has been such a comfort to me, and I thought that, if I would enjoy hearing that I made somebody smile today, I would want to know. Anyway, here's a shout out and a thank you to NLB for making life sunnier for me. 😊

Speaks for itself. A profound expression of love and loss. Teresa is smiling as this echos through the heavens and comforts anyone on earth that has been forced to face such unexpected loss. This should be listened to periodically to remind ourselves of the fragility of life and the importance of spending time with the people that matter and the need to express our appreciation for them in our lives every day. Bravo Norbert and the Angel Band.

A beautiful song that commemorates the life of Norbert Leo Butz's sister Teresa, who died as the result of a horrifically brutal assault. Eli Sanders, a very talented associate editor and writer for the Seattle publication "The Stranger" won a Pulitzer Prize for writing about the tragedy.
