- how to change your oil in your car every 5000 miles. if you dont do your oil changes in your car you will have to remove your oil pan and clean and install your oil pan cause it will create sludge and block the oil pick up tube and can starve the engine from oil and make it bow up. if you dont venom from spiderman will end up in your car and will take it over lol. make sure to check your oil often and top off when needed, no oil mean that your piston will leave the chat.

I don't care what anyone says. I don't care what the dealers or manufacturers say. You all do you. Before synthetic oils became mainstream or the norm I was a conventional user and did 3-5k miles. Now since I have seen with my own eyes and with my own experiences how much better synthetic oils are I so 5k. Never had an issue. 3k or 4K is when you should change your oil. I never have had any major issues. Change your transmission fluid every 40k as well. My vehicles are still running strong.
Differentials every 30K as well
That was true in the 70s. There is no difference in contaminants between a modern oil that has done 4K and an oil that has done 7K.
At 8K you first start to see some deterioration, but you can wait until 10K - the engine will still outlast the car.
You are just throwing money down the drain. If you use premium synthetic oil and premium synthetic filters, the oil will be as clean as the day you added it even after 5k miles. Synthetic oil isn’t prone to the same degradation conventional oil was. At least do a 5k oil change to save a buck, if not an 8k like the manufacturer recommends.
I change my auto transmission fluid every 15-20k or so, its cheap enough and I have a lead foot w/ lots of city driving 😂
@@SwoonGamingNot true at all, because you are completely forgetting about the microscopic carbon particles made by the combustion process. When Engine got constipation 😂😂
I always change my oil after 3500 km, just so I am assured to never fuck up my engine. It is expensive maintenance, but I like to burn money :))))))))))))
From my experience it is never the engine that goes, if you keep the manufacturer intervals.
I go 20 000km oil changes on three cars up to 250 000km before I sold them with no engine issues whatsoever.
The first mazda had 10 000km intervals. Absolutely no problems at 250 000km even when I went up to 20 000km in the end.
Yeah, i change my oil after 15km. Its completely unnecessary, and rises the cost per mile to the moon, but i am assured to never fuck up my engine.
Thats plain stupid.

Here in Brazil, i change my oil every 5k Km ( 3k miles ) 😅
Is it just me, do many of you Americans change your oil at about 5,000 miles? Here in Europe, vehicle manufacturers' recommendations for newer cars are between 9,000 miles to 19,000 miles or one year. Although many mechanics advise against changing at 19,000 miles. Considering that we Europeans in smaller countries probably drive fewer miles per year than you, you Americans could easily extend the mileage between oil changes.
In a marketing campaign, car oil companies began advertising a 3k oil change and that’s been the standard ever since (similar to how Kellog claimed breakfast is the most important meal of the day while owning a breakfast cereal company)
@@Beckybitch, i think this is unnecessary and a waste of money.

Pretty accurate and that's why I change every 3k, my trips are very short
@@GoogleUserGmailI change mine every 10k km which is roughly once a year for me
I don’t think not warming up the oil is going to cause this, you would have to be driving distances less than 1000 feet for your oil not to be warm enough to operate normally, unless you live in Alaska or some other cold ass place. This is caused by not changing the oil.
A coworker and I wrestled an oil filter off for over 20 minutes today and the gasket was dry asf. The customer went a couple thousand miles after the preferred change interval and he had less than a quart in the pan and that was really just the Top Treat I ran prior to servicing. Love the early 2000s Camrys, hate the oil burning and lax owners.
With oils like ams oil and royal purple, you can go at least 10k, sure there expensive but they also are a much higher quality oil , maybe of your using conventional oil still but all new cars uses synthetic oil of some kind, people don't listen to mechanics who say this, they want to charge you more money.
The engine of every amsoil user that goes 30k on a change
