  • how to change your oil in your car every 5000 miles. if you dont do your oil changes in your car you will have to remove your oil pan and clean and install your oil pan cause it will create sludge and block the oil pick up tube and can starve the engine from oil and make it bow up. if you dont venom from spiderman will end up in your car and will take it over lol. make sure to check your oil often and top off when needed, no oil mean that your piston will leave the chat.

I do 7k mile oil changes with Mobil-1 full synthetic on my 08 grand prix with 155k miles on it. The 3800 engine will take much worse than that though, you can do 15k on conventional oil and not hurt it. It's like an indestructible engine, you can drive them to 600k miles no problem

I tested how long my second car would go until the oil got clogged, and it started clogging the oil drain at about 45k. Felt bad, changed the oil and filter and it still drives. My first car, the Volvo 240. Just can't sell it.
The thing is, I've never had any major failures in that car. Nothing besides changing breaks and air filter. My 2018 BMW has already cost me well over $15K since owning it since 2019 (German Cars!!!)
I would actually have the Volvo 240 as my daily if it had ABS and Cold AC (And more space for dog and kids)

Best to do an oil analysis every couple of oil changes as that will show whether you need to change quicker or have more headroom and also give you an insight of what is going on in the engine...

I did 2 oil changes in only 200miles, no joke 😂
new engine- new break in oil, but car war runnig extremeley rich-11-12.5:1 closed loop then bellow 10 in closed loop; and the oil got contaminated with soot so I had to change jt. foud the problem (exhaust leak from air injection reaction system and then I completed the break in (200 miles instead of 500 because I did enough WOT pulls) and just changed the oil again.
