They didn't split up before Live aid by the way. They had just finished the The works Tour in May 85. They took a break after live aid to pursue their own things. Then got together to do more music which became their Magic tour. They then took a hiatus again to rest. Where Freddie did his collaboration with Monseratte Caballe. Then did the Miracle album and Innuendo. Made in heaven was released in 1995 comprising of the work they did before Freddie died.

Yo buddy. Having suffered from major depression , just wanna say well done for talking about it. I've spent hours and hours watching your vids back to back, and taken pleasure, comfort, enjoyment and amusement from them. Wish I could help you buddy. Keep on being you, keep your chin up bud 👍👍
I love this song David ,an glad your better I have bad Anxiety it's hard to deal most days cause certain things trigger mine any who lol glad your in a good space now an I am loving the bass wow 👏👏💞💯🐉🤘🥇🐲🤪😎👑🌹💋
Yep - I didn't know this back at the time, but heard it was written for Brian - to draw him in back in at a time that Brian was having a difficult time in his personal life -
One of my favourites i! How about Staying Power? It's rarely heard, it's fun but was considered a bit too explicit by some, like Give Me Your Body was.
LOVE. IT! Just a note on what you said, re how "NOT easy!" it is to sing at-length in head voice: Everyone knows The BeeGees, right? I read an interview w Barry Gibb (the lead singer/handsome brother of the three)... He said that singing really HIGH all-the-time as he was required to do in their songs, caused him to have really terrible chronic back pain😳
Love to hear you ramble, LOL 👏🏼🥰 And Freddie’s falsetto. This is just Freddie & John - Brian & Roger wanted nothing to do with it! John played the instruments except for a drum machine (can’t recall its name). 😂
I remember listening to this track and having been brought up Queen i remember having my head in my hands thinking this is appalling! Well that was then and this is now! I've grown to love it an appreciate it more and more ! When it came out after being brought up on the prophets song,Brighton rock, death on two legs etc, etc, etc it did not do it for me......how wrong was I!! Take care everyone love and peace and positivety be with us all 😊
I understand….I was in a very dark place when I lost my mum…..but queen music & stories gave me back my life……read a book by Peter Hince who was Freddie’s roadie. It’s called Queen Unseen best book about the boys!?🎼❤️🎼
Apparently Freddie’s vibrato was unusual in that it speeded up rather than starting and slowing which is normal. I can’t remember the voice analysis that gave this information but was interesting you picked up on it. Like the term “machine gun vibrato” ❣️ The baseline is wonderful and the voice .. what can you say .. just gorgeous! Neat reaction 👏👏👏👏
Glad you’re ok love your reactions ❤️ I know you like Roger Taylors voice would love it if you would check out Rock It (prime jive) the official lyric version don’t be fooled by the slow intro by Freddie it’s a good old fashioned rock & roll song showcases Rogers voice brilliantly also if you want to see Queen have a bit of fun check out Wembley triple header your so square/hallo Mary Lou/tutti-frutti brilliant ❤️❤️
The controversial Hot Space album. If you listen to a lot of the tracks I'm sure you will think its one of their best David. However, at the time it was released it was slated by fans and critics & as mentioned even Brian & Roger. I had however stood the test of time. Check out Staying Power live from this album, Milton Keynes Bowl 1982
This was totally promoted by Freddie and John. Brian and Roger just hated it! :( In so many of the songs on the Hot Space album it was totally Freddie and John. Listen, no guitar or drums. Any instrumentation you hear is John.
Cool Cat”, written by Mercury and Deacon, originally featured David Bowie on backing vocals and a few lines of spoken word to a rhythm during the middle eight. According to Mercury in a 1982 TV interview, Bowie was unhappy with the results and requested them to be removed days before its parent album was slated to be released. With the exception of the electric piano (which was played by Mercury), all the instruments are played by Deacon, including drums, guitars, and synths. On the album version, Mercury sings the entire song in falsetto.
Don’t mind your “waffling” ..... love your reactions!! 😁 This song is soooooo cooooool - a lot of Jack ‘Ems!! Ditto the comments below SOUL BROTHER - a song written by Freddie to Dr. Brian May cuz Bri was feeling down about the possible direction that Queen might be going! The vocals are soooooo gooooood & the lyrics are clever.
Actually cool cat it's on the album hot space I think it was released in 1982 under pressure is on the Same album so it was not late for his career he stated in an interview and he was not on tour his voice was much better the constant touring night after night put a lot of pressure on his voice when recording Heathen have that type of pressure on his voice therefore it sounds much better
Love this album, it is believed Roger and Brian hated the album, not totally true. They did not like the way Freddie and John tried to push the disco vibe, they had many many arguments, Brian and Roger said the building they recorded the album was an awful place with dark atmosphere, they ended up having terrible arguments and hated each other for a short while as friends usually do but made up and made "The Works" album. There are some cracking tracks on the album, "Put out the fire" has a screaming guitar solo. Roger has stated he disliked the album cover but I like it, its Andy Warholesque.
Brian and Roger refused to play on this track, John played the guitar, drums, keyboard, and bass of course. Brian and Roger were not happy with this album.
Yeah I heard about that. I'm pretty sure I heard that Brian & Roger had little part to play in making the album (I think?). You can tell it wasn't a "full" queen album, because it's nowhere near as heavy & appeals to more of a club vibe rather than a rock one. Still though, I think there's some good tracks on that album :)
@@janetschulman7649 You want to go onto one of the newer videos Janet as the link is on the newer videos. I mustn't have put it on this one! Sorry haha
All in falsetto. John loves these simple and upbeat songs.
Freddie solo "living on my own" cool music

Please please just one time hear spread your wings from queen live killers 1979
This song and "Pain is So Close to Pleasure" are the only Queen songs that Freddie sings completely in falsetto.
Luv Luv Luv Luv Luv both...but Cool Cat replenishes anytime you are feeling down.
Cats lover Freddie😻Freddie and John have liked more musical genres than only hard rock
You Take My Breath Away, My Melancholy Blues, Soul Brother please 🙏😊
Yes finally my all time fave..thanks for this...more queen hidden gems please...soooo coooool...you made my day...

Thanks, JTB -- this is probably one of just a couple where Fred sang ENTIRELY in falsetto--
This is such a coool song 🎵 Great reaction

At last!! This is one that I just can't get enough of, thanks for the play.
Hi to you 😃
Thanks for the great reaction, to a great song from an amazing band and to Freddie, of course, the king of all vocals 👑👑👑
Another great hidden gem where Freddie hits alot of high notes is "soul brother". A great song you should definitely check out.
Freddie was able to use the two sets of vocal folds which then gave two separate vibrations.

I'm glad you're ok.
I knew you would like this one. Peace to you my friend.
it's great! People have said the same thing about Freddies voice
being like a machine gun. ❤❤

John Deacon and Freddie Mercury wrote that gem for the Hot Space album

I can't find what Queen songs you have already done, but think this one was missed. Dreamers Ball live in Paris 79
Yes..yes..yes.
LOVE IT 💜💜💜
This song was made and recorded only with Freddie and John (Bass, Guitar, synth)
Knowing you have a problem is half the battle. Happy to see you sounding better. Still my favorite reactor☺💕
Cool cat reminds me of beatnik times

I’ve read that Freddie could use a second set of vocal cords- the same as Tibian monks
Great reaction, love this one and you can waffle as much as you want 😍😍

Freddie "channeling" Smokey Robinson here!

Does anyone else try to predict when it will be Jacked back?
i watch every video bro always got you're back from day one bro
David, I cant believe you haven't reacted to Bohemian Rhapsody yet. The original version is obviously the best, over a billion views. Cant wait
This was totally promoted by Freddie and John. Brian and Roger just hated it! :( In so many of the songs on the Hot Space album it was totally Freddie and John. Listen, no guitar or drums. Any instrumentation you hear is John.
no, there is.. can't u hear Roger's drum rhythm there and Brian's little strum?
by the way, john deacon has been a good guitar player as well. just listen to the queen-song „who needs you“, itˋs all him, not brian may.

You should see the version with davie bowie he does the a kind of chorus.
I subscribed because of your waffling, ... but only about Queen of course.

I always watch your reactions(terrific) I don’t think you’ve checked out the making of “One Vision). I think you might really like it.
Love it 🙌🏼
Can you please play
EXERCISE in free love ❤by Freddie
Yes yes agree to it my dear...love his falsetto...
Nah.. I'm totally fine with yr ramblin' :)
Queen doing R&B
I don’t see anywhere where your name is. Where does everyone find it?
Brian and Roger refused to play on this track, John played the guitar, drums, keyboard, and bass of course. Brian and Roger were not happy with this album.
❤
This sounds like something you'd hear in a strip club.(not that I've ever been in one).😉
Since you love Roger’s voice, this one is underrated in my opinion: Fight From The Inside. Link: th-cam.com/video/aau_kEtNV2U/w-d-xo.html
Thank you, bud! And it’s pronounced Haw-zee. Or Haw-see. 🤣
Hot space did not go over well.
