Last Hike in Denali with Trophy Dall Sheep and Golden Eagles

After a few years in Denali, my long career in the national parks came to an end. It was bittersweet. It would be my last hike in the Alaskan wilderness. I spent the day with a good ranger friend, and we hiked a trailless ridgeline punching through patches of snow in the late spring. At the windblown top, we came upon a group of huge Dall Sheep and later some golden eagles. It was truly a spectacular day. Walking out of the wilderness, it was now time to move overseas to Japan.
