Gorgeous personal collection. I'm currently anticipating receiving some Jadeite Jade in the mail. I am only recently learning about Jade. I've found out that I only want to pursue Grade A Natural untreated Jadeite or Nephrite. I'm expecting seven Grade A certified pieces to arrive from China hopefully end of this month or next. Do you have a preference which type of Jade, Jadeite or Nephrite? Also for me, the value of the stone lies in the untreated natural pieces, not necessarily the depth of color. I like the more subdued pastel pieces. Thanks for sharing your collection 😀.

I actually am not really a fan of jadeite jade, i prefer the older traditional ones because there are so many fake ones out there and i have not much experience in telling the fake ones from the genuine ones, i heard even my friend got cheated with a certificate. I would say the highest category of jade is the "mutton fat" jade. i have actually made a few videos on it recently, you can view it under the "Emperor's Imperial Jade" video in which i showcased some mutton fat jade and also how to Style Jade also showcases some of the more traditional jade. I also love the more subdued pastel shades but the traditional deep emerald jade green is also a showstopper. Do feel free to get in touch with me if you need any other information. I am not really an expert but i do have experience buying and selling jade.

Hi! The bi disc (your necklace) is more a symbol of heaven than representative of a coin. The social elite used to place much larger versions of the discs inside their tombs. ^_^

May i ask how you came across my channel. I am very happy that you have a jade pendant, its very unusual for caucasians to know about jade let alone own one. You must be very fashionable indeed and knowledgeable. What colour is your jade? and how did you get it? If its with a gold ring it must be quite an old piece.
I love that darker green pendant. It’s almost imperial green, a very valuable shade of green. Dark and rich. Yes, I believe wearing jadeite can get us through difficult times in our lives. I totally understand the situation you went through with your ill mother and new career challenges. I’ve been through that kind of situation. Wearing jadeite seems to give a person peace of mind and emotional security.
Yes that piece of jade is one of my favourites, it really got me through that period in my life. Now everytime, i look at it, it reminds me that i can get through anything. i love it because it has that rich green emerald colour. 🙏

Hi Aileen! Beautiful collection! I started collecting jades (jadeite and nephrite) one year ago, bangles, ring, pendant etc. And I fell in love with it, I own a mutton fat bangle and a purplish bangle jadeite. Can I shower with it? Thanks!
Hi Caip.533 thank you for taking the time to watch and leave a comment, i am so glad when i hear of stories of people falling in love with jade. Yes it is alright to shower with it, but for me, i would advise against it, for example if you are wearing a jade bangle and you soap yourself, the suds may make the bangle slip and fall and since most bathrooms are made of concrete walls and floors, once it falls or hits the wall, it can smash or crack. I do not wear my jade full time, as i interchange it, so once i am in the house, i will remove it, that way its safe and its longevity will be preserved. I hope this answers your question. 🙏
