Hello everyone, I'm very excited, because I made a crystal druzy edge on my resin flower coasters. I think it looks amazing. Let me know what you think. Link to druzy playlist. th-cam.com/play/PLWqX7R3JwkuOBloGc5yPoKh8xwParX1gz.html
These are beautiful and don't apologize for your English, it is excellent. I don't speak any other languages. I'm in Canada and I don't even speak French. Excellent job, beautiful coasters.
Oh, how beautiful, Petra! And, you got a beautiful druzy edge. Thank you for taking the time to teach us how to make a druzy edge and the silicone barrier on plexiglass. I so appreciate all you do!
Wow just when I think I might have a inch of the talent that you have mountains of you go and blow me out of the water again these are so beautiful thank you for sharing your gift
Beautiful, the colours are amazing. Love the druzzy edge. Like and appreciate the time you put in teaching throughout the videos...I am definitely going to do this..... 💞🥰💞🥰💞🥰
Amazing Petra! Very ingenious how you figured out how to make those edges. Those edges would look great with a geode design too! You can add your inks immediately after pouring your resin, they will spread better.
Thank you so much for your nice compliment Ali ❤ I appreciate it a lot. 😀 Yes, I'm working on a geode design at the moment. Yes, thank you for your sugestion. I already tried it to add the inks right after pouring.
I love these Petra!!! And I’m so going to do these barriers. The druzy edge is amazing!!! I’m going to try once again to do a flower today. Wish me luck lol
So cool ,I couldn't find the link how you make your crystals. I'm so in love with this mold. Well done Petra, love the edge. Yes I watched you using this mold. Fantastic. Just need help finding video for making the crystals....pleaseee, ty.
Thank you so much for your nice compliment Melissa ❤ I appreciate it a lot. 😀 I will add the link to the video. The left over crystals are in the plastic bin. So you don't have to make the druzy molds. You can add the hot water in the plastic bin and add the alum salt (epsom salt). Mix it and leave it for 24 hours. Then the crystals will grow. If they are not large enough. You can do the same process again and the crystals will grow larger. ❣ th-cam.com/video/YqXfoT0XSDQ/w-d-xo.html
interesting... I think I am going to try this but I am going to use some salt I think... just to see if it will work. Thank you so much for sharing! A year later... aye.
hi Petra I hope you are well ? when you wash the alum crystals off the barriers does it dissolve them ? as I thought it might do ?? love the druzy effect I have left over crystals aswell so would love to give this a try but didn't want to lose all my crystals so that's why I asked ?? live the end result your so good at explaining and teaching us new ideas and effects so thanks for all your hard work xx
Hi P S, yes I'm doing great. I hope you are fine too. Yes, the alum crystal dissolve in hot water. Maybe when you spray them with a gloss varnish they don't dissolve, but I'm not sure, because I never tried it. Thank you so much for your nice compliment ❤ I appreciate it a lot. 😀

How did you ensure the barriers stayed stuck to the plexiglass? I find the silicone I use does not stick well enough so the resin leaks underneath.
interesting... I think I am going to try this but I am going to use some salt I think... just to see if it will work. Thank you so much for sharing! A year later... aye.
