Disney Springs Date Night! | Delicious Dinner At The Boathouse & Cirque du Soleil Drawn to Life!

- In today's vlog we head to Disney Springs for a date night! We start the night off with dinner at The Boathouse, which was delicious as always! Tim had the Yachtclub Club and I had the filet sliders, both were really good! We definitely recommend checking it out when you're in Disney Springs. Then we head over to Cirque du Soleil's Drawn to Life, it was our first time seeing the show and we loved it! It was emotional, thrilling, funny and a really great way to spend a date night at Disney Springs! We weren't able to film during the show but we were sent some b-roll so we could show you what to expect when you go to see it. We really enjoyed it and would definitely suggest you check it out on your next Disney Springs trip! We hope you had fun hanging out with tonight! Well thanks Tim and Jenn you just cost me and my partner several hundred dollars because we are going on our honeymoon to DisneyWorld in October and after seeing that preview we absolutely cannot miss out on Drawn to Life! We are huge Cirque du Soleil fans and it looks like an utterly incredible show.

I work at the theater as an usher and I'm so glad you liked it! Also I love that it left you questioning all the illusions because those are some of my favorite things. The jugglers jacket being lifted into the air by his "birds" is my favorite. And if you think about the story its in classic Disney fashion with a dead parent. lol

Cirque du Soleil is like another level of acrobatics and performance than any “circus” I’ve ever seen. It’s just mind boggling what they do. Literally those acrobats ought to be Olympic gymnasts.
I just wanted to mention- that Jenn really said “I just wanted to mention” a lot 🤣

In our anniversary in June, we did exactly that. Went to the Boathouse and then Drawn to life. We had a super fantastic day. Thanks for the videos.

My wife and I ate here last year for our 30th wedding anniversary the food was fantastic and the bread was delicious great choice for date night
The Cirque shows are always mind-boggling and stunning. I saw O in Las Vegas and came away absolutely amazed. Super talented group of acrobats and performers. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Always in awe, amazement & mesmerized with each show. The 1st show was in the parking lot in Santa Monica, CA by the pier under a large enclosed tent!!

Tim & Jenn this was very nice! Thanks for the experience. I haven’t been to Cirque du Soleil and glad to get a peak through you. I was fortunate to stay at Saratoga Springs once with a DVC friend and early one morning my husband & I ran to and through Disney Springs before the crowds. It was fun!
That show looks amazing! I've wanted to see it ever since I first heard there was going to be a Cirque themed to Disney animation. Honestly, that IS Disney to me...love the parks, love the cruiseships.... but ultimately, it's the animated movies at the heart of my Disney love.

Oh my goodness, if I had understood your original thoughts and feelings about La Nouba (the previous Cirque show) I would have taken the time to comment on all your previous Disney Springs videos to convince you to go see it! That show holds such a special place in my heart because of some magical childhood memories of mine and I was devastated when they closed it, but we were definitely pleasantly surprised by Drawn To Life so I'm glad you guys had the opportunity to finally see a Cirque due Solei show!

Hey Tim and Jen, the pillow is actually a potato sack! When you go through animation schooling, one of the first projects you take on as a practice in your class is to animate potato sacks as an exercise to giving a character life, whether you're doing it with claymation, traditional hand drawn animation, or CGI. The purpose of the exercise is to see how well you can translate expression and character into an object that doesn't have face or hand, so the potato sack is usually chosen as the subject.

My first Cirque show was when I went to WDW with my sister, her daughter and son-in-law. It was a surprise for them, and we all loved the show! Seen 2 other shows and loved them as well!
Cirque is on my list for my next visit. I've seen a few different shows in Vegas and loved them so I'm excited for this one.
The president that had an amphicar was Lyndon B Johnson. I looked it up whilst watching. Your dad was right Tim about him pretending the brakes had malfunctioned and he used to drive into his lake on his ranch in Texas.
I've only ever seen Cirque Du Soleil on television and some of the acrobatics are mind blowing.

I've seen the otters at Old Key West, which is on the is same waterway - SO cute! Your sandwich looked good, Tim, but Jenn's sliders looked DELICIOUS! Very cool you got to see Drawn to Life. Never saw La Nouba, but have seen several Cirque shows around the country, and they are UNBELIEVEABLE! Those concession stand prices are RIDICULOUS!!! Drawn to Life we thought was amazing. My teenage boys even loved it and talked about it that whole week as one of the best things at Disney our first time.
Loved this vlog! I feel like I’ve been on a date night with you. We’ve only seen Cirque once. It was The Beatles LOVE in Las Vegas. It was amazing. We didn’t buy the most expensive tickets, but had great seats.

I’m so glad I didn’t let online reviews affect my experience at Drawn to Life. I thought it was SOOOO cool. I absolutely loved it (the blue fairies and the guy on the pencil were my favorites!) and we want to see it again. Can’t wait for the soundtrack to be released!
I’m dying… I know Tim doesn’t do seafood. … goes to seafood restaurant and gets steak and sandwich. I’m respecting that ! But can I tell you what I’m ordering: dozen blue point oysters, lobster bisque and lobster roll! Glass of champagne and a water front view. 🤣🥳 salt and straw arbequina olive oil ice cream. On my family's first ever trip to Disney I made a big push to see La Nouba while we were there and we all absolutely loved it. We don't have the time to fit the new show in on this year's trip but I'd love to see it someday ❤️ I'm glad you guys had a great time!

If you like that cirque show, I highly recommend watching any of the Las Vegas shows (especially O and Ka). I saw La Nouba 3 times and it's the ultimate goal to go to Vegas to see a BIG cirque show.

This is something I'm putting on my list to see next visit. My sister and I saw O in Vegas years ago only Cirque show we've seen and like you it entranced me and I wanted to know how they did some things. I was right about them having suba divers in the water tank to help the divers/swimers. And like you Jen there's so much going on it's hard to know where to looks.
Cirque Du Soleil is incredible, you should make sure you go to one of the big top shows if it comes to town. Just saw Alegria a couple months ago here in Vancouver, incredible
My husband and I LOVE Cirque du Soleil! I believe they originated in Montreal so being from Canada they’re pretty well known here. They also have a lot of shows in Vegas.
Lucky Dux oyster come from Duxbury MA up here by me! It’s located in the south shore of Massachusetts just before Cape Cod starts. The cold water makes for ideal oyster raising! If you ever see Wellfleet oysters, make sure to try them! They come from further down the Cape and are my absolute favorite!
