Thank you for this one. I'm going to do this this weekend. Just a tip for y'all. At our house we always have left over ham because they are so big. Especially the part that is not spiral cut. I use that and the left over gravy to make a ham chowder. Best soup ever on a cold wintry night.
I prepared this along with a turkey for our Thanksgiving dinner yesterday and I am pleased to say it was a hit. I bought an uncured spiral sliced smoked ham from Sprouts and used apple wood chunks in my Weber Smoky Mountain. I put pinapple slices in the pan under the ham and when it was done and I moved it to the cutting board, I poured the sauce along with a little leftover glaze into a pot on the stove and let it simmer. I cut up the pinapple slices and put them over the ham on the serving tray with the sauce on the side. It came out great and the sauce was inspired. I had never tried that Blue Hog sauce before and it was really delicious. 'Oh my ham' is right. What a terrific glaze. Thank you for this.
Hey, I did one of these for Christmas dinner. Here’s my glaze: 1 cup Mae Ploy Sweet Chili Sauce 6oz dark brown sugar and a splash of good cola (no diet!) Had to share. Mmmmm good!

Just pulled this ham off my electric Masterbuilt smoker... unreal. It's Thanksgiving and I've been down with a migraine all day, so my daughters put it together for me. I have tried so many of his videos when it comes to smoking meats, let me tell you this guy knows his stuff. Trust me when i say do what he says. Im a army infantry soldier who doesn’t get alot of time to craft my skills but my fellow infantrymen swear im the best grill men around lol, i dont have the heart to tell them my skills come from this guys. I did this myself but substituted peach preserves and maple chipotle BBQ sauce for the glaze. I did it on a Chargrill Triple Play offset using apple and pecan. We used the ham for our annual traditional Christmas morning eggs benedict. Lemme tell you, this ham was easy and fantastic. What a fantastic and easy recipe.
I made this for Christmas, altho mine was a bit different. My wife bought the ham and didn't get a smoked one, but it was spiral cut and had a glaze on it. I did the smoking and glazed it like you show in this video and it turned out fantastic. Thanks a lot for the great idea, especially with the glaze, it was awesome.
