Which cold steel did you carry around? I carry a Rajah or a luzon- I found the espada Xl was just a bit too large and the large was just a bit too small. Cold steel is great at making big knives feel small.

Iv carried a pair since high school (in Texas they are legal ) and i find the best way to carry is with your wrist straight . @ 1:04 your knuckles appear to be to small for your hand because when your wrist is straight they are slightly pointed down . So for you to use them your punch is gonna be awkward
I totally agree my palm supports the palmll swell quite nicely with a strong grip making a fist with my thumb at a downward right angle resting on the backs of my fingers I've punched plywood at 75% power and felt 0 pain and mild pain with 100% power but a whole lot less than the pain from using a bare fist. practice your grip and start of slow
Are you meant to slip your ring and middle finger through the two holes above the palm pad? I find that naturally my fingers dont want to go there, but I dont know if the two centre hols have a specific function. Thanks.
i think you have to make sure the holes are big enough for your hands, i made the mistake of buying classic small brass knuckles and it was a nightmare to even fit properly

Thank you bro. So many people think you put it as close as poss8ble to the fist. Inbetween the knuckle and the middle of your finger joint. You do it closer to the tips like you said and swipe. Otherwise you risk fucking up your wrist. Ty

While I'd own some, probably about the last thing I'd ever reach for to defend myself. But hey, when you can carry collapsible batons, swords, and guns, it's natural these take a back seat.
Do brass knuckles do more damaged spiked or “flat”
Spiked does more damage. Bc it's sharp at the end
Depends on the type of damage, lethal damage, flat will do more damage because of more bones being broken and blunt force, more surface area, if youre going for cuts of course spiked will do more, its like comparing getting hit in the face with a sledgehammer or a knife, or getting hit on a piece of muscle, pointed weapons do more damage to muscle, blunt force does more to bones. Either way, a gash, or shatter bones, its subjective which is more painful

Brass knuckles are but carbon fiber one are(difference is that if the knuckles are made out of metal illegal, if say plastic or carbon fiber(no metal) perfectly legal. I hate canada because it lacks self defense laws. if someone tries to rob you at gun point and you manage to take their weapon and injury/kill them you can face serious jail time for saving your own life and or others also.

They should be warn just above the Falange or fore knuckles and the palm brace should be close to the palm then the fingers hold the palm brace against the palm so that way if they go to rock upward your fingers are resisting that upward movement by holding them tight to the palm.
The knuckles should be parallel with the palm and wrist and you should punch as straight as possible and with the two middle undulations trying not to hit with the two outer undulations.
But the knuckles should be just above the Falange or fore knuckles and the palm brace as close to the palm of the hand as possible, so your pulling up with your fingers on the palm brace so the force is pulling down at the striking point where the undulations are.
This was you are pulling up with your fingers and forcing the striking point down at the knuckles so that way you are pulling against the palm brace to avoid them rocking upward.
This way they will be rock solid and by squeezing the fingers and fist you pull the palm brace to the palm of the hand which will put resistance on the striking point so the do not rock and hurt the hand.
It’s like a push pull type of force to reduce movement of the knuckles.
You wear them how your brain tells you. You don’t know how to wear them there’s a reason there’s a huge hole underneath the 4 ring holes your two middle fingers are supposed to tuck back into that huge hole into your palm like a normal fist if worn correctly you can throw haymakers with a hand you previously broke 👌🏾
