2014 Infiniti QX60 - Power Liftgate

Your vehicle is equipped with a power lift gate. To operate the power lift gate, the shift lever must be in PARK.
Use one of the following methods to open the power lift gate:
• Push the POWER LIFT GATE switch on the instrument panel,
• Press and hold the POWER LIFT GATE button on the Intelligent Key, or
• Push the lift gate OPENER switch on the lift gate with the Intelligent Key in range.
The lift gate will open, even if the doors are locked. The hazard lights flash and a chime sounds.
To close the liftgate:
• Push the POWER LIFT GATE switch on the instrument panel,
• Press and hold the POWER LIFT GATE button on the Intelligent Key, or
• Push the lift gate switch on the lift gate.
The hazard lights will flash and a chime will sound until the lift gate is closed.
You'll find the POWER LIFT GATE MAIN switch on your instrument panel. When this switch is in the OFF position, the lift gate OPENER switch and the POWER LIFT GATE switch on the lift gate will not operate.
If the vehicle battery is discharged and the power lift gate cannot be opened, remove this cover at the bottom of the inside of the lift gate. Beneath the cover is a lever. Move it to the right to open the lift gate.
