Sutton Bank is another steep one. Between York and Scarborough. When we used to drive up in my parents' car in the '60s, we used to park up at the top to let the car cool down. Haha!
This video was from earlier this year but I only live about an hour away from there (near Wetherby) and ride in that area quite a bit. Having said that, I don't "think" I've done that road so will check it out. Thanks!
Yep I totally agree. I've already recorded a video where I ride Hardknott and Wrynose passes as part of a single day's ride from the West Coast (St Bees) to the East coast (Robin Hood's Bay). That was a great days riding and I only told my wife the reputation of Hardknott pass AFTER she'd completed it no problem 😂

Yes, I use Sutton Bank quite often and have occasionally followed cars with smelly clutches on the way up or smelly brakes on the way down 😂
While you're in the area ride from Egton Bridge to Rosedale, the climb from the Horseshoe Hotel is "interesting"

Watch those sheep, sometimes they will just jump out in front of you.
Steep but not very technical. Have a go at Hardknott and Wrynose passes in lakes.
