Gaia is the absolute best. It’s complicated to learn but once you to it’s AMAZING.

Love Gaia . this make my planning much easier. Your videos on Gaia are SO helpful and much easier to used . i plan a road trip at end of the yr for about a month from Indiana to Tucson Az from there i spend alot of time on the trails around AZ, CA, And UT. Two years ago it way rough to plan a trip with what info i had to used. Last year down loading Gaia app this made things little bit easier. This year planning was lot easier to do. Thanks for your videos on Gaia. Off the beating path i like plan a trip to the Ozarks i do pull a overland tr .

Glad you stuck with Gaia. I know others are pushing other apps and I’ve tried them all and gave them a hard try. They have good features but I keep coming back to GAIA.
It’s just easy. Plan it on my desktop and navigate it on my tablet or phone.
I need the organization you have. Mine is a mess.

The 3D mode with the shaded relief layer enabled about 1/2 way is even neater!

Excellent, I learned a lot of new things. The 3D feature is quite handy.
Love Gaia. Started using them for hiking simply because of the ability to download the map for an entire trip with one click. One thing to note is that the Distance Markers feature is not available on the Android Mobile version (yet). You'll still need to use something like Caltopo for that. I have not tried exporting a track from Caltopo with the distance markers in place and importing it to Gaia to see if the markers come with it....think I'll give that a try. Anyway, thanks for all your videos on the Gaia features, tips, and tricks. Very helpful!

i love that they allow you to have folders in folders. but would be nice to have a option to scale the waypoint size along with being able to make the Gate icon bigger as ive missed it a few times and been met with a gate mid trip to realise the icon was there just so small.

Thank you. Always learn little nuggets from these videos. I like the 1 mile marker dots. Also didn't know about the highlighted areas showing BLM, National Forest, State Park etc...
I see some examples where it's state land and then also highlighted by BLM. In those cases which one is it "technically" ?
Thank you so much for your content on Gaia! I’ve recently started using it for Adv riding. I downloaded a GPX file from someone that is planning a ride in Baja. I downloaded no problem and was able to see it on the map! The only issue is in addition to the route there were two separate straight lines on the map from one waypoint to the other? For some reason I can’t seem to delete. I’m using OS platform. Thanks!!

Do you have a video or video series on the KAT? I’d love to see a detailed ideo on how to do the KAT. Kind of intimidating doing a 900 mile trip and not knowing where to even start.
I’ve only done less than half of the KAT and have multiple videos on it. It’s awesome!!
Love the app, but can you work on a route and come back later to it to make little tweaks here and there without messing up the route or the need to start all over?
Use to love Gaia gps, but I just had to change my password and when I log back in the private land map doesn't show up at all. When I went to add it the private land map is not even there anymore . I am getting no where with their support team except to say they put me in the que with no time frame to fixing it. Use to love it but the private land map was the main attraction to keep off of private land. Really sad to lose it
I just started using the software for touring on my motorcycle. I have many gpx files, can I get Gaia to guide me from my current location to the he starting waypoint and through all the following waypoints with an imported gpx file. I can route to the initial waypoint, but once I get there on the motorcycle I have initiate the route again to follow all the other saved waypoints. I hope that make sense.

Hey Thank you for this vid!! Very helpful…we are in FL and leaving early morning, Sat Oct 28, for cross Fl trip. One of our group can’t seem to activate driving directions from start point/ WayPoint where we begin the group ride. He says it lags and drops or jumps around. Does this seem or sound like GAIA? I’ve not experienced this yet but haven’t used GPX files for a trip yet either. Any suggestions or insight would be appreciated. Stay well!!! Thanks again! Recently found you, SUB’d!!
Don’t use driving directions in Gaia. That’s what Waze and Google Maps is for. lol.
Can't you just let your Apple Car Play display Gaia on the infotainment screen instead of using a tablet?
Thinking we may need to change from OnX Off-Road to Gia. This would be super handy for helping us find more places to go! Does this have an overlay for Private land ownership?

Thanks for the video. I feel so inept at this since I purchased it. I've saved my route and when I hit "guide me", it keep telling I've reached my destination as I'm going along. I also can't figure out how to turn off the audio notifications. Any advice?
Don’t use Guide Me.
What do you I use? This a trail that is already established (Cactus to Clouds in Palm Springs), however can be tricky and I need to know I'm on the right route. :)

Am having problems with gaia web interface. It's not loading routes on my browser - just seeing white screen. Also, trying to plot routes on web is not working. I had to reload a couple times, delete my work, and restart. WTF? I am a subscriber. This used to be eaiser. Not impressed by OUTSIDE.
