  • First Time In Venezuela. In this video, I to Caracas Venezuela despite the U.S. State Department Travel Advisory warning Americans not to visit the country, to learn more about what is life like living in Venezuela beyond what we see on mainstream media. On This first episode of Life in Venezuela, I visit Caracas Venezuela's capital on a hunt for a replacement for something I lost.

    Listening to her to say “negro” when she saw him at the airport with her big smile and running with happiness and give to him a big hug, for us as venezuelan that is a word of affection that means that we appreciate that person in a very good way almost as family. For venezuelan to say “negro or negrito” is not an expression of racism at all. We all enjoy together without care ethnic or skin color, we just care that the person be a good person, fun, respectful. That is the most important.

    Bro, you can't leave Caracas without visit the followings: go to the beach with the ladies, 30 minutes away from she live in car. If you want the beach alone, go during week days, but If you want to see more ladies, go on weekends, BTW on weekends you will have all the services at the beach. Go to the mountain "Avila" trekking and using the funicular, both activities need to be done in different days. Talk with your friend to go La Colonia Tovar and Junquito.. is the highest altitude town close to Caracas, very nice and chilly, with Germany heritage. You can also visit the Hatillo Town to drink Chicha and other native food. Go walking around downtown Caracas with the ladies where the Liberator's House is located and if you want to visit upscale bar and places in Caracas please let me know.

      Then why do they call me negro instead of senior or mister? This question is aways answer by people who are not. Your answer to me might be, they call me that because the see me as a black man it nothing negative - True on the surface (which I understand how that word is used in Latin America ) but as long there is a classification then people can also use the term Afro Venezuelan. Let me make this clear an Afro Venezuelan is a person is 100% Venezuelan who has roots that are African, just like there are Venezuelans with Indigenous or European roots. The word Afro is just a word used just used to help identify a group of people there is nothing negative about the term.

      @@TheKiwiphotopapi relax yourself, they are Venezuelans but you cant deny people claiming their African origin because it hurts your feelings. This is the genocidal attitude that had the Spanish Conquistadors wipe out whole populations in the Americas and Caribbean particularly.

    • @leonardoplaza7677
      @leonardoplaza7677 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Addi_Teacha509 No man, you're mistaken. Most of the natives were killed by smallpox and other deseases. The spaniards were the only one who created laws protecting the natives. They could not be used as slaves or forced work. Study a little bit about the spaniards colonization before spreading missinformation.
      And we say negro a lot. Its our way to express love. We even say it to white or brown people. It's not an insult down here. We all have african roots and we embrace it.

    I had a cool time in Chiciriviche In Valencia... The beaches were awesome in one place they had a sandbank of the shore with a shack on it... There was two of guys there... It was a great time.. The locals used to flock there on the weekend... No idea what it is like now though..

      P.N. Morrocoy (Tucacas/Chichirivichi townships). I haven't been there for ages so no idea either. Another place is P.N. Los Roques, a set of small islands N of Caracas, reachable either by plane or by boat only.

      Portuguese and Spanish are cousin languages. But I think it's easy for you to understand Spanish than for us to understand Portuguese

      I find it easier understanding brasilian accent than original european portuguese, reading no problem whatsoever, the odd word here and there but that's about it 🇻🇪🇧🇷🇵🇹🤠👍

    great to see you reunited with your amiga Ace. the beaches at Puerto Colombia (Choroni) are nice. reached by a wild ride from Maracay. there's also some other small towns reached by boat (Cepe and Chauo). Merida is quite pretty in the mountains too. Cuidate en Caracas.
