    Q. I was asked this question: that Virgin Mary needed a savior!
    A. Though Mary, is Truly the Immaculate Conception aka Born Without Sin. Jesus Christ is not only Her Son and Her God, but also, Her SAVIOR!
Not as saving Her because she was born in sin, Like Us, but SAVING Virgin Mary from the NOTHINGNESS, that She was, to a CREATED BEING, SO PERFECTLY CREATED, FULL OF GRACE, because of who She is today, THE MOTHER OF GOD. Amen
As Virgin Mary Stated: "...My Spirit has rejoiced in God My Savior..."
    Hail Mary, Full of Grace.

+Martin Sandoval Mary was not born sinless. That simply is not a teaching found in the bible. That is a Catholic idea. You will not find an immaculate conception described anywhere in the bible.

Thank you very much for this topic Catholic Answers. Unfortunately, majority of Catholics have no idea about the dogma of the Immaculate Conception (including me before) especially in a biblical perspective. This is the very reason why we cannot share anything with anyone who asked us about it. That's why Catholics are misunderstood by our brothers who are none-Catholics. In addition, I would like to share bible verses that convinced me to believe the sinless birth of the Holy Mother Mary. In the book of Wisdom 1:4 it says "For the WISDOM will not enter into a malicious soul, nor dwell in a body subject to sins." and in 1Corinthians 1:24& 1:30 it says "24 But to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the POWER and the WISDOM of God. 30 It is because of Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us WISDOM from God-that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption." These verses to me explains why the Holy Mother Mary was prepared by God the Father to be Immaculate Conception because as Trent said, She is the vessel or the giver of human flesh (body) of God the Son Jesus who is the WISDOM of God the Father. Therefore, it is fitting for Her (Mama Mary) to be born without any stain of sin because the WISDOM of God (Jesus Christ) cannot enter and will not dwell in a sinful body. and why Mother Mary was not the one who died on the cross? Simply because she is not the Son of God who will save the world as prophesied by the Prophets.

+Super Jack That's why most people will object to the DOGMA of the immaculate conception. It's a DOGMA and not a bible teaching.

“Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but HOLY MEN of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.”‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭1:20-21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

+Dayne Archer That does not include the pope though or his interpretation. That would fall under private interpretation as well. The whole catechism is private interpretation since it is external to the bible.

“ALL SCRIPTURE is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭3:16-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The answer is easy!!! Try reading Gen 3:15......God tells the serpent in the garden exactly what he's going to do. He's going to create a "woman" free of sin.....and her offspring will also be free of sin

BornAgain happyfriday No she didn't need to be saved from Sin. She didn't Sin. She is the "New Eve"....the first Eve basically got us into this horrible state of the world. The New Eve, rather than saying "no" to God like the old, she said "Yes" to God's will. Why do you think Satan HATES Mary so much? Because he can't believe that a HUMAN, (a female human at that) was ELEVATED by God the Father to be "Queen of Angels" (which Satan is an Angel.....meaning he must not only Glorify Jesus, but also his MOTHER as Queen of Angels. You sooooo need to fix the relationship you have with Mary, the Mother of your Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ...and the Rosary is the perfect starting point.

BornAgain happyfriday No it's not...in fact David picked up 5 smooth stones to defeat Evil.....I don't think it is any coincidence that the Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary begins with five smooth stones.

+Rosary WMD Mary needed to be saved the same as everyone else. She needed a savior just the same. She was not sinless, as the church will lead you to believe. That's not in the bible anywhere.
The concept of the "New Eve" is made up by the Catholic church. That concept is not taught in the bible.
Mary was never elevated above anyone else in the bible either. She was not '"Queen of the Angels". You will find that nowhere in the bible.
The rosary also is not in the bible.

+Rosary WMD Plus, Mary can not hear our prayers. She is dead and in the grave, just like everyone else. The bible says that "the dead know nothing". No one is in Heaven yet except Moses and Elijah. Jesus said He will take all of the believers up with Him at the second coming. The whole concept of Mary hearing our prayers in Heaven is not biblical.

BornAgain happyfriday I did, David picked up 5 smooth stones in the Bible. That was his weapon of that time. Our weapon is prefigured by those 5 smooth stones that David choose, and that weapon today is the Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The application of the immaculate Conception is correct, scriptures say Christ was crucified before the foundations of the world. This makes the Immaculate Conception possible , for Mary herself was in need of a savior. When speaking of the messager, she said my Lord and Savior has come to me.

The historical argument also points to the Orthodox church, which rejects the immaculate conception. It was not taught by the church fathers. She was immaculate, but she was not born that way.
Also, your definition of Original Sin was made up by Augustine.

Fellas, your not making sense? If Jesus was born of a sinless Mary(immaculate) then how could Jesus be fully God full man? Jesus would have been fully God fully God? (Miraculous-Yes) ✝️

  • @paulhudson4254

If Mary was sinless then how could Jesus who took flesh from Mary, be fully God fully man? Jesus would have been Fully God, Fully God! The Pope is only infallible on issues of faith and morals.
“Conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary,” immaculate conception-NO miraculous-YES
