VIDBAT true that, but you must know that what Jay is showing us, isn't everything but only the arrangement and a very rough mix. Lot's of post-processing by engineers happen before release so what Jay made in FL often sounds quite different from the released track
Is soundgoodizer like compressor really, I never use it much but it seems like the saturation plugin like 'A bit warmer' in Ableton. Quote me if I'm wrong lol

sometimes it sound a bit deep and cool if reverb is there on sub bass.
THE KALKI but it turns the mix into a mess
Tim Pelle you can eliminate those unwanted frequencies by automating compressor and limiter which will work good later in mixing.
THE KALKI never knew that before, but still its better if you dont do it at all i guess

At 16:02 he could make the drop vocal easier way. He could make vocal chop sound "make unique" and add to harmor then write the melody

After watching this I realised I just try way to hard to be techical correct instead of just producing. Technicaly I can do all that this guy is doing, yet I have never had a single hit or song released. For example, using soundgoodizer. People always say: "Soundgoodizer is for noobs" and thats why I dont use it. Or the fruity reverb, I dont use it because everybody says its a shit reverb. This video showed me to get my head out of my own ass and just start creating instead of crapping on everybody because they are doing it "the wrong way".
I would like you to show us how you do that awesome vocal leads right from the start :D
