Scio is something that would be my secret track to listen when I'm alone or very happy...It is something that you don't listen everyday from regular house producers. Its a track that only few great producers like Jay Hardway can create. As soon as you plug it in , you are forced to go till the end , looping that drop again and again , meanwhile the melody already gets straight in the heart. Can't express my gratitude to you for makin' it and having an explained session with you is absolutely a gift that is unbelievable. So thank you Jay for explaining this track wonderfully , however I will have to for like 5-6 times to understand the video fully.Thankyou Jay once again and keep making stuff like this

Scio is one of the most underrated tracks of Jay! My favorite ever! Almost 7 years till this video posted and still surprise me how Jay can make this masterpieces!

Hi Jay, to do that automation 06:29 you can also move the knob you need to automate, go to tools - last tweaked - create automation clip, I only write it in case someone did not know and I can help a little

What I like the best about Jay Hardway is he doesn't use over-the-top mixing plugins, he can make a Spinnin-Records worthy mix using for the most part just Fruity Stock plugins

Hey Jay, you can also create an automation clip by tweaking the knob and then going to options -- last tweaked -- create automation clip. On the top left corner of fl studio is Options.

Note to all New Producers: Overthinking is your worst enemy when it comes to producing. Play around with melodies even if it doesn't meet your standards.

6:22 you can also use "Tools, Last Tweaked" to make an automation with the last used parameter , more simple than browsing all the parameters

6:40 Cutoff automation: Tweak cutoff knob -> TOOLS -> Last tweaked -> create automation clip.This way is easier :D

Loved the tutorial. Just one thing about creating the automation, well u tweak the knob u want to automate and then go to tools option on the top left corner of fl and then lasttweaked>create automation clip. This wont mess up your browser.
And please make a track from scratch and just explain how much low frequencies should we keep space for the bassline u know! thanks!

This is hard to explain when explaining a track, because sometimes finding or making a sound takes several hours. When I'm producing I'm searching for a certain sound and go through presets, packs and synths I have in my personal collection until I have the sound I'm looking for. I also tweak certain sounds until I have the right sound.
Thank you so much for answering! It would be really helpful if you do next episode what others already wrote: A track from scratch. I mostly struggle at the beginning like finding good sounds etc. But even when I have good sounds, the harder step for me is to make a good melody etc. Would be really awesome but anyways thank you for your communication with the fans!

I am so interested in how you mix because a lot of your mixer channels are at 0db and a lot are clipping.. I'd love to know what you do because I keep my kick at -6db and craft everything around that (being lower in gain volume)
