This video was incredibly well made and yet it still hurt to watch those deaths. Your commitment is insane, congrats on finally getting the 1:03. Also the cat interference was a little too relatable lol
Wow. Such commitment... Much determination... I'm about 20hr into my first ever playthrough on survival and nowhere near this level lol Congrats on making the WR. Your speedruns are really fun to watch as well as inspirational. Thanks for sharing!
I made it using a program called CloudCompare and an extraction of the game's terrain data. I don't recommend going down that rabbit hole and instead just use one of these 4k maps made by hhrhhr: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1234053158
@@cinnamoncookies thank you, that's awesome! I've been wanting to learn the route for running 100%, and it'll be w a y easier if I can see what I'm doing rather than guess lol
@@threedeepinthewindow8715; An aptly named mode! Seeing as the core concept of the game is to simply survive, I felt it would be a more authentic experience to only play on hardcore. Took me months to finally beat the game (and it took me way, waaaaay more than an hour to do it). I was proud of myself for finally succeeding, but I would definitely only recommend hardcore to folks who REALLY like Subnautica. As this video very clearly shows, there are a LOT of ways to die; even for an absolute pro like Cinnamon Cookies. Knowing that it took over a thousand attempts to achieve this record was genuinely comforting to me. Helped me feel a lot less bad about the many, MANY times I died while just trying to make it to the end. Thank you so much for making this, Cinnamon!!!

This deserves way more attention. The sheer amount of commitment and time sunk into the game for a few seconds is insane.
