Did a similar with self adhesive velvet and it makes the screen "float", the wall behind disapears. Do you have any acoustic absorbing material behind the fabric?

Buy once, cry once.. Go ahead and factor in the cost of replacing the old fabric with the new stuff. I've been watching your channel for a long time and you will end it doing it in the end, so go ahead and budget for redoing the front when you get the supplies to finish the rest of the room. The rooms looks great but it would be better if it all matched, I know its not my money but I think you like our feedback. 😀

just fyi the black velvet in the front is better for absorbing light reflections i would keep it up and continue with what you have getting it to match will not make up or look better then keeping the velvet best of luck to you

You mentioned about the room being more quiet. I could tell when the video started it was a lot quieter so I think that’s a perk not only the black when the lights are off but now the sound also I’m impressed with that nice job. 👍🎞️🎬🍿

      1) why is your very front piece of cloth looking different between the left and right (the ones nearest to the screen left and right). The left one seems to be lighter than the right side. Is that only in the video or does it show up in person as well?
      2) Having the two cloths alternating actually gives a visual design element to the room. Probably, you can alternate them along the whole room.
      3) can you post both links to both the cloths to buy?

    • @myhometheater7029

@@srikanthsbk i figured someone would notice. The fabric is turned the opposite way. It took me a minute to figure it out when I got done. I’m gonna replace this with the other fabric when I get done with the room.

  • @johnwaugh8633

The rough edges sticking out of the track is easy to fix. You either have to use the blue tucking tool. The one that doesn't roll to push the rest in. Or if the track is full you can pull the fabric out (it makes a horrible sound when you do) and then trim just a tiny bit of. Use a good sharp pair of scissors. Preferably ones that have never cut paper.
