Thank god. Such a needed education on this matter for Ana.

Ana, you had a great interview with one problem....the Prime minister gave you GREAT answers....you just didn't LIKE the answers because they were not what you wanted to hear. YOU are guilty of being stuck on YOUR POV and being unwilling to change your position.
You are acting very right wing on your narrative, Ana (in the sense you are coming with questions, but trying to get the answers to fit your forced framing. Here is the thing...your position is WRONG. Russia does NOT have a valid argument to make regarding NATO. As the Prime minister explained.
Yet you keep pushing a flawed premise.
Russia does not get to dictate who joins NATO. And Russia fear is NOT over any legitimate security concerns about being invaded. Its fear is that it is losing CULTURAL influence over countries that are preferring democratic influences.
    As the Prime Minister explained.
You are on a Railroad. Which is unusual for you. You need to get off your Russian Propaganda Track, Ana. I don't understand why you got on it in the first place. You are smarter than this.

    • @LittleMacscorner

@@krikorklenjian9696 Yeah, Ana is very progressive. And that's ok, I don't mind that. I am giving constructive criticism not that she asked questions with progressive framing, but because should got HONEST and GOOD answers but because those answers did not fit her per-conceived conclusions she kept re-asking and trying to reframe to fit Ana's (imo incorrect on this occasion) conclusions.
This is exactly what the right wing does and I hate it. I don't want to see it on the Left and will call it out win I see it. I am a progressive myself, but that I still want to approach arguments/discussions in an intellectually neutral/honest/fair way.
Once again, a progressive POV is fine. And not allowing people to avoid answering a question is fine. But when people ANSWER your question you need to analyze the answer (in your own head as well to re-evaluate your own perspective) and then allow the audience to come to their own conclusion, not keep rephrasing your question to try and get the answer you want.

@@LittleMacscorner It's difficult to take her seriously when she's both stating somewhat pro-Russian points in the interview (e.g. #1 US would immediately attack any country which might put "Mark 41 missiles", which is a launcher used mainly for launching Standard anti-air missiles, while US never invaded or even bombarded Cuba technically before or after they installed Soviet SRBMs, #2 US/NATO "promised" not to expand eastwards, compared to the treaty to guarantee Ukrainian sovereignty that Russia actually signed, etc.). She also doesn't seem to be professional enough to understand/notice/admit that there is a difference between Nagorno Kharabah (which is officially part of Azerbaijan) and Armenia proper, neither of which Turkey actually invaded like she says several times.

It would be great if Ana could interview Vjosa Osmani, a president who could extend on Russian intermingling in Western Balkan politics. I feel like the US left, which I usually admire, is blind when it comes to the danger of Russia as an anti-democratic danger. Some of Ana's questions show her misguided perspectives and relativations. I like Ana's criticism towards Western politics in general, but when it comes to Russia, she just seems to be like many US citizens who cannot look further than over their own demarcations. And when it comes to Russia, a simple click-bait video title like as usual in TYT does not work. Kaja Kallas did very well in answering every single question. Respect! She clearly has studied Russian agression tactics and also learned how to deal with naive but well meaning questions. Estonia is in good hands 👏
