It's good that despite the detectives bungling this up as much as humanly possible, he was eventually still convicted; but, am I the only one who finds it coldly horrifying how much they relied on things like his eyes, body language, and lack of emotion? As a neurodivergent person, I couldn't stop thinking about how if I were in that room they'd probably think I was guilty too because it's common for those of us on the spectrum to exhibit inaccurate and unintentionally misleading quirks like that.
@@georgetrevor2621maybe but it seems a bit unfair if you ask me. To look for the same things in people who inherently show body language and stuff like that different just by nature of being. School Principals do this too, they just are a slight bit more extreme with the bad cop person. My brother is still in therapy after getting traumatized after the bad cop teacher put him through psychological torture to get him to confess to stuff he did not do since he was part of an activism group.
The scariest part is how he has zero emotion through the whole thing. His mugshot is exactly what his face looked like the whole time. This guy is horrifying.
Imagine being that last brother who now has to live the rest of his life without any of his family because his little brother couldn't let go of his addiction.

I'm about to turn 28, but I live on my dad's property. In my car. I did live alone for a while, but it didn't end well. And we learned I can't just live, y'know, by myself. I moved out when I was 20, lived with a gf for 6 months equally. We broke at about 6 months right after my 21st birthday, and she quit her job.......and which point, I then was pretty much forced to support her. Cause the house we were living in was owned by her great-aunt. And her aunt outright told me that she was fine with the ex living there for no rent, but I couldn't stay if she wasn't living there. I finally moved out after another 2 years, and lived in my own for 4 years. But it got to a point where I was having break downs almost every week. Everyone I invited over, or made plans to hang out with, would always bail on the day of. Or just never reply. And I finally realized that there's only so long that you can be alone, before you start actually expecting a response from your cats. And then a little bit longer than that, you realize just his far you've slipped and either end up liking yourself and/or others, or admitting it's not something you're cut out for. (Edit) I also do work for my dad for letting me stay on his property. He has a garden, so I'll till the plot and pull grass, along with mowing and waterproofing his Tiny House every year. So I still pay for it, just with work rather than money.
The difference between this individual and you, Dan, is that you would not kill your dating partner. EDIT: I really like the extra long reaction video and giving your reaction and response as it happens. My work schedule prevents me from watching this live. EDIT 2: I wonder how different are interrogations in other parts of the world.
Okay wait this is actually hilarious though. What are half of the things the male detective is saying? "Listen, you sit in my seat that isn't the seat I was sitting in. Right now, you're a man out in the middle of the ocean. We can toss you one of several things. A kiss on my feet. Jesus' love on my seat. A life preserver that you'll just have to get over the hoop part of. Or this boat anchor." and my ass is sitting there like, "Uh... couldn't you pull me out of the water? Aren't you a murderer if you don't do that? Why would you just toss me a life preserver and then leave?"
The detective is a fucking legend 😂started to ask him bout the murders the same way the guy said his dad started the argument,"why do you think we are having this conversation" The guy previously said he did what he always did and acted like he didn't know... Caught himself up in his own words 😂dawg fucking genius
If you want a simple explanation. He killed his dad because he probably got in his face and told him he was out. He killed his mom because she definitely would have reported him. He killed his brother A. To frame his brother for the crime and B. Because when his brother got home, it would have been obvious who killed their mother and father
I agree about the fact that you should definitely probably live with your parents as long as you'd like so long as there's amicable relations and you're providing a mutual benefit. 29 probably a bit too old though. But like... I moved out when I was like 26. I met a girl when I was 24, we dated for a few years, got married. She moved in with my family when COVID hit (not married just quite yet), and we saved up money for a down payment on a house together with all the extra money we weren't spending on living in an apartment or some place else. In the course of like a year, we saved up something like $50k for a down payment on a home. Got married March 2021, moved into our house May 2021. Prior to that, I didn't really have a legitimate reason to want to live on my own. My parents are a bit older. My dad had some health issues, my mom had some health issues. I was able to assist them, but they were also able to assist me when I needed help with my career choices or figuring out what to do in life and just in general not having to pay $1k+ a month on room and board is a nice quality of life. I would still chip in an amount of money, but it's astronomically lower than renting an apartment. I know I wouldn't have been able to save up that kind of money if I had been living on my own, so it was a really large jump start to my life. Later than I would have liked admittedly.
What I never understood about policing in the States is how if you lie to the police or confess that's taken as gospel, but they're allowed to lie to you.
And God, those last 20 minutes. They're just saying so many things that make me say "If you know these things, why am I here. What do you need from me?". It's very much the "I'm telling you the truth, but you won't believe me unless it's your truth." It reminds me of just psychologically beating confessions out of people.
