Gerald Mohr was the perfect Marlowe. I've heard all of them with him and I listen to my favorites over and over again. Red Wind is my absolute favorite. The only one actually written by Raymond Chandler. Van Heflin did the first season and was good but nowhere near as good as Mohr .
