    Thanks very much. I'm glad to learn that my cover videos serve other drummers, especially those who serve/drum in the church. God bless the work of your hands & feet.

    It's such a double blessing to play the drums to Worshing music. Very nice cover. I agree. The best TH-cam cover I have seen. It's come to be the case when searching for songs to learn from, and find you putting on a clinic. Thanks again, and may God continue to use and bless you, to be a blessing.

    Hey Cameron, thanks for checking out this cover and for your kind words. I used to do the same on my legs before I got a kit, and it's a good way to practice, as you're getting the coordination and thinking of drumming patterns. Please feel free to contact me regarding any questions you may have on drumming. God bless the work of your hands & feet. Thanks for the sub too.

    Hey good job man I love the drum sets and the way u play! I'm a 14 year old boy wanting to play drums at his church. I don't have a drum set or nothing but I do walk around patting my legs to songs. Even during worship during church. Imma start posting vids of me drumming when I get me a set and start playing at church! I hope the best for you and ur family! God bless you brother! Awesome drummer! I subscribe! :D

    @sebastianbasal 2? I usually cover 6 - 12 a week. How? 1. I know the song, especially if it's a praise/worship one that I played in church the Sunday before, & that will usually be 4 or more songs. or, 2. I cover songs I've heard for years and/or played in a cover band. 3. Learn new songs by spending time listening & charting them out. I've been learning & continue to learn songs for many decades, so it comes from experience.

      @rhythmantic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@EKPittman That’s awesome and may God bless the work of your hands & feet. You don’t need a lot of chops (technique), just keep it moving and grooving and in the pocket and the band & vocalists will dig it. Best yet: be a musician first and a drummer second by being very familiar with the song structure, i.e., Intro, Verse, Chorus, Bridge, Solo, and design your drum parts dynamically and musically to fit each section.

    • @EKPittman
      @EKPittman ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rhythmantic thank you so much for that advice. I will surely do what you’ve advised me to do. I love the way you just effortlessly hit the ride. It’s so smooth. I am still learning to fulfill am effortless transition from using the hi hat to the crash to the ride!

    • @rhythmantic
      @rhythmantic  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@EKPittman Trust your instincts, it’s all in the feel/ touch. The drums will eventually become an extension of yourself, another limb so to speak.
