I love these shows, they remind me of just how many models I built as a young man, and how todays kids could benefit from spending some time building their own, I learned so much about how things were built from model building, and wouldnt trade that time for the world
I didn’t start building until age 27 but I know what you are saying, I pre plan my whole build before even clipping the parts off the trees. I love this hobby and the people and friends make it awesome. Thanks for reaching out.
So impressed with your filming, no nonsense , no talking over filming . Saw so much great stuff I want , models I never even knew existed ......thank you
That’s the best vendor review I’ve seen, you did a nice pause on all the kits, so we could see. It took me 2 hours to watch this one video. Thank you, can’t wait to get out Ohio.
I was there early in the day, 8 until 11. Good show, lot's of entries. It was nice to see they had 2 youth category tables, and about a half dozen entries there. I saw a few Dads bringing their kids along, too. That's good for the hobby. Not sure if you were there same time that I was, but would have been glad to shake hands had I known you were. One of the awarded cars looked like the Kreg's Corners Judge.
I was all set to go to that show...we decided to take a family vacation in a few weeks....have to save some dough. I'm definitely hitting up the Cininnati show.
150 for the J-car. I would have considered. Not one Datsun 510 or 620 pick up kit. 😢 I think I would have bought 10 kits or so. Haha. Thanks for the tour!!
Saw a couple of the Johan Chrysler Turbine Curbside kits that I wouldn't mind having, I have one of the older issues that I'd rather not build. Also there was a Monogram Cherry Bomb that was cool.
The turbine car in full detail I’ve heard is almost unbuildable without major fitting adjustments. I think the curbside is the way to go with that car.
Hi Neil, I had never heard of them before the show. Very nice stuff. They are like Aoshima or Fujimi kit wheels but he adds aluminum sleeves the them. I saw he was asking $50 a set so my wallet told me no.
Hi Tom, I had never heard of them before the show but they were really nice wheels. Looked like Aoshima or Fujimi wheels with aluminum sleeves. He was asking $50 a set for them.
I wish we had something like this around here. I’d probably bring a bunch of money, end up in debt, and still be kicking myself in the butt, cause there’d be something that I left behind 😬
Absolutely, I saw that too! I only bought a new Revell Aston Martin James Bond car at the show. Many more shows coming up so I’ll have more to choose from.
Hi Ron, this show was in Hilliard Ohio. Check Facebook for the Columbus Ohio model club and I’m sure they publish when their shows are. Most likely in the fall.

Very nice models on the tables. That was the most vintage kits I have ever seen at a model show. Thanks for sharing.
There were a lot of old stuff for sale, especially at one table mid way thru the video. Not my thing, but I know you guys go ga-ga over them 😁
Thanks James!
My pleasure, thanks for watching and leaving a comment.

Thanks for posting ,lots of incredible looking models! so many vintage kits for sale i would've spent a fortune!!
I restrained myself. I’ll be going to Detroit this weekend and then NNL East in a couple weeks.
I was at that show. Only grabbed a couple kits and some decals. It was a good time.

Hey James the stand with the rims on the start on the video was awesome! I will quote Daffy Duck's words ... It's mine all mine!!!!
Yes, I felt the same way until I flipped one over to see the $50 price tag on them. Ouch!
but they are very nice! ..........

Hi Ray, I got there around 9:30 and started filming around 12. I’m sure we will run into each other at Detroit, East, Stark, Akron or other shows.
@@ScaleModelExperiment Ok, I am planning to be at Detroit. I have other business to attend to in the Metro area later this week.
I was all set to go to that show...we decided to take a family vacation in a few weeks....have to save some dough. I'm definitely hitting up the Cininnati show.
You missed a good one but there will be others. Hope to see you someday.
Wow awesome video there were a couple of models I would love to have had
Thanks for watching Travis, it was a good show and lots of variety in the swap meet area. 👍
What a place for treasure hunt :D
That’s for sure, something for everyone! Thanks for watching 👍
150 for the J-car. I would have considered. Not one Datsun 510 or 620 pick up kit. 😢 I think I would have bought 10 kits or so. Haha. Thanks for the tour!!
I forget that you don’t get to see all of the bargains at shows brother. Someday I’ll watch you spend all your money hehe.
Saw a couple of the Johan Chrysler Turbine Curbside kits that I wouldn't mind having, I have one of the older issues that I'd rather not build. Also there was a Monogram Cherry Bomb that was cool.

Lindo demais parabéns 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🤩
Thank you so much for watching 👍
Thanks for taking us along! Can you say who the wheel and tire guy was at the opening of the vid please??
Hi Neil, I had never heard of them before the show. Very nice stuff. They are like Aoshima or Fujimi kit wheels but he adds aluminum sleeves the them. I saw he was asking $50 a set so my wallet told me no.
When are their next shows..I need to come down there.. I could spend $500 easy there..probably more..lol
What you need to do is come to the Detroit show 11/10. Much bigger, more stuff! I’ll be there.
do you have any info on the wheelcraft wheels & parts in the beginning of the video? Looked like some interesting stuff
Hi Tom, I had never heard of them before the show but they were really nice wheels. Looked like Aoshima or Fujimi wheels with aluminum sleeves. He was asking $50 a set for them.
@@ScaleModelExperiment dang! That ain't cheap but i'd still like to see how they look. Thanks
@grooveholmes79 that’s for sure… my wallet said nope! But they are nice wheels and if you have a golden project they’d be perfect for it.
I wish we had something like this around here. I’d probably bring a bunch of money, end up in debt, and still be kicking myself in the butt, cause there’d be something that I left behind 😬
It’s funny Steven, when I only have a couple bucks to spend there are tons of kits I want. When I bring money, nothing!!!
I don't remember hearing music in the background as I'm walking through, yesterday.
😂😂😂😂😂
I didn’t realize there was music either till I reviewed the video coverage. Hope I don’t get copyright infringement 😜
When is the next model show in Columbus? Is there a schedule of Ohio shows available?
Hi Sam, I don’t know of any place where there is a schedule of shows. I do know that there is a show in Akron in the Fall.
also the 240z datsun from revel (1.30 time stamp) I want it!
Hi Nikolaos, I’m suprised you would pick the Revell over a Hasegawa or Tamiya kit for a 240. Please tell me why?
I like the challenge!
@@nikolaosstavrou5327 haha!😂
and it s PEPE BROOKS car.
and it looks like and old jaguar .......
Buy 3 get 1 free is a good deal!
Absolutely, I saw that too! I only bought a new Revell Aston Martin James Bond car at the show. Many more shows coming up so I’ll have more to choose from.
where was this located in columbus? how are these advertised?
Hi Ron, this show was in Hilliard Ohio. Check Facebook for the Columbus Ohio model club and I’m sure they publish when their shows are. Most likely in the fall.
Lots of large scale kits you passed up on under the tables
