So originally we just speculated in the dark who the final boss of the War Within is but now we have datamined the entire storyline of 11.0 and we have very strong evidence for the remaining 2 patches. We got goblin hints, we got a placed called Renilash, we got a newly discovered Light emperor on a new continent we will visit soon as well most importantly developments on what appears to be the 5th old god that we've been talking about for years now. Even more importantly we got new information on who Xal'atath is and what she is doing so right now we can actually talk about the final boss of the War Within with actual evidence. So who is going to be the ultimate big bad of this new WoW expansion?

Rennalash is not a "place" , it is an event. Like Ragnarok in norse mythology, and Kralizec in the Frank Herbert Dune novel series. It is the name they give for a confrontation between Light and Void which their prophecies try to get them to prepare for.

The Arathi expedition that got stuck in Hallowfall supposedly left the Empire 15 years ago by the in- world calendar. Since each expansion canonically takes place during one year (most fans don't buy that), combined with the 3- year timeskip, this happened sometime between Warcraft 3 and Vanilla. The only reason the Emperor would have sent them back then would have been to aid the the Scarlet Crusade and/or the Argent Dawn in their losing war against the Scourge.
Maybe the Emperor had a vision of the upcoming war against the Lich King, believing IT was Rennalash, and this expedition was supposed to prepare the remnants of Lordaeron for this conflict. Instead of Tirion Fordring leading the Argent Crusade to Northrend, we would have had an Arathi- backed unified Lordaeron Crusade sailing to Northrend- with Arathi airships and advanced holy weaponry- completely decimating Arthas' forces. Without Bolvar to take the Frozen Throne, the Scourge would run rampant, but be contained in Northrend thanks to the Holy Fire- tech of the Arathi. The implications for Sylvanas and the Jailer are a different matter I'd rather not add to this story.
The Arathi- backed Lordaeron- With Calia Menethil as the new queen- would become a new superpower on Azeroth, rivaling both the Alliance and Horde, though it would trade with both faction, and try to keep up peace between them, as they'd view both factions as defenders against the REAL conflict the Void.
This is all just speculation, but it's more interesting than most crap online.
@@stormstrider1990 You seem to have become ensnared in a bit of a snafu for reasoning which maybe I can help get you out of. It's almost the equivalent of Anachronistic Solipsism....although I suppose literary and historical analysts may prefer the term "Presentism". At any rate, you seem to have looked at the word arathi and then erroneously assumed that anybody knew or cared about the local events in only a vanilla zone or warcraft 3 scene. These Arathi people are not the arathi empire from eastern kingdom history books. At best, they were an offshoot with a common ancestor to the people that ended up in the northern part of eastern kingdoms. At worst, these new Arathi may be from an entirely different timeline version of Azeroth just like alternate Draenor was an alternate timeline version of Draenor. But this time, instead of us traveling to them 30 years in their past, some of them traveled to our timeline 15 years in our past. In fact, if we're looking for an option..... the Azeroth in that same timeline as the alternate Draenor could fit all the facts so far. If there was no Kil'Jaeden discovery, and no orcish invasion of that Azeroth, and no Lich King in that Azeroth.... then the Sunwell would be fine, the humans and high elves would be closest of friends and could be interbreeding more than they did in ours, etc. They could have a human Light Emperor. They could have flying wooden Airships. They could have contact with Naaru who would teleport them to our Azeroth to fight off the void and save a Hallowfall naaru creature stuck under the ground. The naaru who gave that Light Emperor visions could very well believe it to be the fulfillment of a prophecy to send that expedition into our world; and given that naaru spaceship technology can traverse dimensions and spacetime......poof, easy answer.
Maybe the goblin cannon in azshara will be fired this xpac :D

I'd be surprised If Xal is the Final boss on World Within. I'd sooner expect Xal to be the Final Boss for Ether Midnight or at the Last Titan. But I suspect Iridikron would have been the Final Boss for Last Titan Empowered for His Revenge to towards the Titans. As for the Light Emperor i suspect he wont be any good ether being that the Void and Light are not Friendly in the Cosmological Universe. While the Void is semi blunt on there intentions the Light are slower to there Control over everything.

Iridikron being the final boss in The Last Titan would be ass. The final boss has to be Azeroth or something.
@Supbrozki well lol it only fits as he for the time being is staying out sight or rather removed him self of play because he dosnt care about Azeroth Fate. His only Desire is his Revenge on the Titans and if Azeroth is Destroyed in the Process he dosnt care. Final Boss is something Azeroth seems to be a ether very powerful Spirt of some sort or at a Fringe of a possibility. Is that it's a First One or rather the Last of the First Ones. A God like power in it's infancy is a Power all the Cosmological Forces wants there power over in there side. And The Void and the Light are no exception to the Game of Domination Control. Same with the Titans as well ether way it's a game of choice who side is the least of evils in a game of all Evils and which evil is survival.
my money is on Xalatath being an anti-villain and the light emperor is the true enemy

Its strange how we haven't gotten any mention or anything from Iridikron on the War within , but might end up pulling something big out of nowhere
Iridikron did say that they will not see him again until its time for his revenge on the Titans when speaking with Vyranoth. He already did his part and now its up to Xal'atath to do hers and lure the Titans back.
When I started thinking about the light crystal and the light emperor. Then seeing the mural with the 5th old god and the void crystal. Considering that the crystal is the same with two sides. Maybe the one that is that is depicted with it and the one that sent an expedition that ended up with the crystal is the one and same? Light emperor is the 5th old god? The war within isnt the war within azeroth, but the war within the light emperor. He is "infected" by the old god. Maybe far out, but just something that came to me haha
I can't get hyped for dimensius. We have already seen him, yet so many prior videos on different channels say that we have never seen a void lord. They also used the voidwalker demon model which has always been confusing. I'm fairly certain a void lord is not a demon since it's not on the same cosmological side as fel. Lastly, I thought they were supposed to be as big and bad and mysterious as the First Ones. I don't want us to re-engage with Dimensius, Lord of Retcons.
What we fought in netherstorm was only a fragment of its power. Plus he was invented likely before the current cosmology's iteration was cobbled together. He'll probably get his model retroactively updated.

Xal'atath will be final boss, but we wont kill her. I think her encounter would even reflect that, for example She will leave at 50% HP and we will fight some of her Hidden super nerubian guy/voidspawn or something like that,
My guess is that Xal'atath will complete her plan using the essences of the defeated old gods, summon The Ancient One, and start the turning of Azeroth to void. We then have to deal with the new old god, the ancient one, and eventually the avatar of Dimensius with the help of the Arathi Empire and many new Na'aru. Meanwhile the Titans show up to reoriginate the world and we have to deal with them. This will culminate is a war between light and dark as prophecied, one in which we fight to free and awaken Azeroth herself so that the world can kick the Void Lords' and the Light Lords' butts.
I assumed it wasn't going to xal'atath. There's a whole list of possible guys greater than her. Dimensius, some random original super void lord, an old god, a darkened mega naaru, and so on. Possible raid bosses in later expacs; nerubian queen, iridikron, light emperor, light/void naaru, and titans.

What if we need the fel to actually stand a chance on actually the void forces not these just merely physicle incarnations, imagine asking sargeras for help along all of the titans and the shadowlands’s, and maybe elune who knows, im really hopeful for this cataclysmic events on azeroth like the lore should be fucking immense

why i have feeling they got ideas from Naruto, what if, 5th old god is the original and only one true "old god" , and other old gods were created by splitting old god essences into 4 completely new old gods which we already know. Maybe thats what Xalatath is gathering.

We need to cut off the fifth old god stuff. Xal is gathering essence of the defeated old gods with the dark heart to summon dimensius, since they are all void/shadow school.
Now here is my guess: she will succeed in midnight and, perhaps, azeroth awakening does not mean that the planet is safe.
Azeroth could awake, but still our planet be destroyed after that. And that would make up for her being the last titan.

Elune je future Sylvanas, fora, tu ulogu igraju i Timeriftovi, kao sto smo imali scenu sa Garroshom koji je pobegao kroz TimerifT u Draenor, e tako je Elune stalno pricala sa Tyrande i navodila je na to i to, i sad svi cekamo da se ELUNE (Future Sylvanas) vrati. I onda cemo videti Sylvanas u potpuno novom izdanju. So yeah! Sorry for spoilers. x)
Sylv ce se vratiti u Midnight-u. A Elune je neka vrsta kozmološkog titana i nema veze sa Sylv.
@@mathenis Zapravo ima. Btw. isti glas u Sylvanas i u Elune, plus je '' nesto '' sprecilo Tyrande da ubije Sylvanas, vec je samo htela da je baci u Maw, kako bi se purge-ovala. Zapravo je Elune - Sylvanas iz buducnosti, vratice se okupana svelosti. Seti se kako su Sylvanas zvale njene sestre, Alleria i Veressa. '' Our little Moon '' svaka od sestara je kao dar dobila po Amulet, kao i njihov brat Windrunner. Svaka je dobila po neki oblik, ne znam i ja, a Sylvanas je dobila u obliku Meseca.. tako da, da. :D
