@@moorexable interesting. Maybe it’s not would up correctly? Try lowering it completely and then raise it to see if that helps. If that doesn’t work I’m not sure what to do.
Just installed mine. One tip I recommend - figured this out after some frustration. Use a staple gun to put the template up. It’s WAY better than the tape. My ceilings are 12’. The rack will lower to a manageable level (waist height) but the crank is unusable unless you’re really tall. Solution is to use a drill instead. Solid product tho.
I wish they make a bigger version like 4 x 8. That will hold a lot more stuff
how did you level the rack? Ours is installed but the rack is not level, wondering what we missed!

Do you recommend this product
I really like mine. Yes.
The fact that they couldn't include longer cables to accommodate 12ft ceilings is just stupid.
I agree. Most garages I’ve seen have at least 10’ ceilings. Seems like a simple solution 🤷🏼♂️
I added 3ft long threaded rods and coupler to extend the platform down to the floor. I am not going to pickup my snowblower.
@@cameronmcdaniel105 I’ve been thinking of doing something similar. Seems to hold up well? Thanks 👊
@@HomegrownReview I got lock nuts on both sides of the couplers to make sure it doesn't go anywhere

That is a good idea! I used pushpins with extra tape to hold my template up. Staples would have been much easier.
