Thank you. Very good detailed Review of this product and all the features of it. Not sure why he decided to use his phone camera Vertically and only use 1/3 of the screen as opposed to turning it 90° Horizontally and using all 100% of it, but aside from that, both the 1/3 Video and Audio is very clear.
Thank you for making the video. I got my Hexbug black widow, because I was tired of constantly buying and replacing the battery in my battle crab. I was surprised about the size of this black widow. But I'm pretty sure I can use it to climb terrain. Which was an alternative motive of actually buying it. Thank you again, I found the video entertaining and informative.
Very helpful video, would been hard pressed to figure it out using just the sketchy instructions. Manufacturers couldn't have made it any harder to remove it from the packaging, maybe it was just mine. Thanks for the informative vid.
One issue I've noticed, tried two, out of the box the sound works via the remote, after the first charge, it takes awhile for the sound to be triggered via remote, maybe after one minute of moving the spider around, the sound however works on its own without using the button right away. I don't double tap for sound though, maybe that's the trick. As for Target, as far as I know, they're the only big box retailer that is bothering with the black widow, but I'm sure Amazon has them.. only down side, some of their drivers just throw shit on the porch like its trash. Guess they're in a rush to get done with their deliveries.
I noticed this as well post-review, and Amazon has had it up on there for a while now. I can't speak for the delivery drivers, but they should take better care of our packages nonetheless.
Gonna try using my two prong USB adapter to hook it up to the surge protector instead of the PC. I think USB is great but I have noticed little flaws charging using it for the last five plus years, especially with my older motorolla phones, think it may over charge just a bit causing bugs. So I'm going to use my two prong USB adapter and charge the spider the next time with that, see if I get the same "bug". Cool toy regardless.. The spider look but with the modern robo look blended in, just a solid idea and the best Hexbug to date, I did like the scorpions but my cats were able to pull off the tails too easily, which made them unsafe.
Surge protection's definitely a must with anything with rechargeable batteries these days, and I'm glad you agree that the design is one of Hexbug's best designs in years, and I do have one of the scorpions, but it's clearly seen better days. Still, I appreciate your enthusiastic input regarding the product in this video review, and perhaps others I've done as well.
Honestly, the people that are being rude about the whole vertical film thing seriously I’m doing an animated film and I appreciate your review on this. It’s not like you’re making a motion picture or anything people get so technical… Overall thank you for your review.
Nice of you to post this video, but I fail to understand why anyone would spend the time to do an in-depth review, but not turn the damn phone sideways. This is especially annoying when the object is in motion and tends to run out of the field of view. The solution is simple as hell. Try it.
@@MRG_Official yeah I just saw an add for the widdow. thanks for the review. And you are right, That other guy was a dick in his comment. What a moron. Thanks for the vid.
definitely DO film in landscape though, this vertical trend needs to stop. I understand it because of phones, but it really is degrading to both your intelligence and ours. and thats not me being offensive, just needed to add to it, but yes first person was very rude about it
Thank you for making this review. A month ago, there were no videos that I found that reviews the hex bug black widow.
No problem, and stay tuned for my Hexbug Kraken review! ^-^

If you hold your phone vertically, you can watch it on a full screen

Thank you, I'm glad you can appreciate the video for what it is.
How do you pair the romote to spider?
it should be as simple as turning the spider on, then the controller.
Mine is not connecting to the controller
Have you put the batteries in correctly? Have you ensured that the robot is fully charged?
I HAVE THE DRAGON
awesome!
