After watching the episode tonight, I have another comment, Ash. After Alice’s meltdown when she got “cancelled” & Maddow cancelled her appearance on the show, Sophie sprang into action determined to make things work, with Dani’s help. Alice looking for kitty Piddles Jr was hilarious and so was the banter when she met up with TASHA (❤️) The whole episode had the OG LWord look & feel to it, with good dialogue, great acting and I think Kate Moennig did a beautiful job directing it. Thank you, Ash for the break down. I missed a few of things you showed. I loved the Bette and Tina scenes, although I wish there was at least one more. Wasn’t particularly fond of this episode. It seems like the show is writing off or this is the ending of the OGs and if there is a season 4, then it will have only the GenQ people. We’ll see what next week’s episode brings. I am not sure every storyline is going to have a happy ending.
In retrospect, the less-than-spectacular proposal after a failed evening shows the direction in which the wedding will finally turne: just into a bad luck show. They deserved so much more.😭 Yes, in a way the proposal was very romantic. Tina and Bette in an everyday scene. They have known and loved each other for so long that they don't need a spectacular bend of the knee or anything like that. To have the proposal take place in this place, in the middle of all the people and traffic and still allow them this very intimate moment, was really romantic! What totally disturbed me, however, was the fact that Tina, when proposing, would rather look at the remains of her meal than into the eyes of the woman she wants to spend the rest of her life with. Otherwise the scene was perfect, the focus was on Bette and Tina and they were so cute! The fireworks made it a perfect moment. It was really hard to see how everything went wrong at the wedding and the camera work was disastrous. I can't really think of anything else that could have gone wrong! I also think that they missed the chance to have an official wedding, now that this is finally possible in many countries! Instead, they preferred to make a publicity stunt out of it. After the ceremony, it would have been great to have Bette and Tina reminisce with their friends to close the circle. Another missed opportunity.
Tina definitely picked up on Bella’s energy for Angie which she seemed to ackn as being likely since Ang had a girlfriend in high sch. BUT!!! aftr Shane had recognized the Professor and inquired directly of Bella, it tickled me how one, by one, Shane’s, Bette & Tina (especially) eye blazed poor Bell with laser stares. . .
Continuation--to do this kind of thing for so fucking long. Make the show about bringing in new talent. Queer talent." I would like to hear your thoughts if you picked up on it or am I just reading into things. Thanks for all you do.
Hate to say it but this has been the worst season of the L Word in both franchises. I hate that Pippa did not come back, then mid season Gigi exits. It would have been nice if they would have brought Pippa back even as a character with another love interest or just on the show as they did Rosie O'Donnell character, (can’t remember her name on the show). Pippa added something different to the show that has always been missing. Tina and Bette is even boring now, I maybe the only one to feel like this but I am not excited about them being a couple. I have hung in there this season because I am invested but glad this is the last season as this show has lost it’s spunk!!
You put your detective coat back on. What allowed us to see, some things went unnoticed. 🙈Bravo for this work👍 I found the ring beautiful, sapphire with small diaments. 💍 There's something about Tina's look that's surprising. She finds the ring very beautiful, but then until the end, I felt that she was not comfortable. 🤔 To be honest, I was not very touched by the proposal, because it was the 3rd time. On the other hand, for marriage it will be different💞💞. 🔥🔥
I felt like Tina has been feeling guilty for blowing up her family and NOT really helping to mend the wound with Kit’s passing. She was glad that she & Bette decided to be amiable wrt Angie. I think they were glad to have friendship on that level. She hadn’t spent as much time resolving her insecurities like Bette has. Bette wanted and DID change substantially even at the risk of Tina failing to ackn & believe in Her (Bette’s) efforts. I think when Bette came to understand her Mother’s propensity to turn away from family(God, it must have been hell to live with ultra-conservative, unrelenting hypocrisy of Melvin) and TINA’s bolting when it got hard, but truly 4giving them to the point of finally letting a “chill vibe” arise rather than the rage that used to erupt as she tried to cover up, disappointments, rejection, and fears galor

I am not sure every storyline is going to have a happy ending.
Maybe they ordered a coke to share, then got an extra cup and spilled half into that one xD
Thank you Ash for making great content! #tibette 🥰
can’t wait for the magical day
Im so not ready to let them go Ash 😿
In retrospect, the less-than-spectacular proposal after a failed evening shows the direction in which the wedding will finally turne: just into a bad luck show. They deserved so much more.😭
Yes, in a way the proposal was very romantic.
God i need to rewatch the L Word OG box sets
Do u know the name of the music that Dre sangs?
I didn't get the last tweet about the proposal...what am I missing from the original? 🤔🤔🤔
This is why you should watch the OG
The movie MLR wrote and was in... Angie says F*** you. 😂😂😂 Was that for all us frustrated fans! 😉
So much time wasted, instead of more time focusing on TiBette, next episode better be 90% TiBette
Can we please just get rid of the Professor!!
Tina definitely picked up on Bella’s energy for Angie which she seemed to ackn as being likely since Ang had a girlfriend in high sch.
BUT!!! aftr Shane had recognized the Professor and inquired directly of Bella, it tickled me how one, by one, Shane’s, Bette & Tina (especially) eye blazed poor Bell with laser stares. . .
How did Alice not get in trouble for doing that in the l word .. didn’t she sign an nda for that party?
They dont even know.. the right # of years... failed story writing again 👎
So what was Angie watching on her lap top??
I want to meet Leisha and Kate in Florida
Continuation--to do this kind of thing for so fucking long. Make the show about bringing in new talent. Queer talent." I would like to hear your thoughts if you picked up on it or am I just reading into things. Thanks for all you do.
I wonder what Tina says to Bette at the fireworks???? What are they talking????
Yeah not much subtlety in time noting the roommate's longing. Directing error
🙈Bravo for this work👍
I found the ring beautiful, sapphire with small diaments. 💍
There's something about Tina's look that's surprising. She finds the ring very beautiful, but then until the end, I felt that she was not comfortable. 🤔
To be honest, I was not very touched by the proposal, because it was the 3rd time.
❤❤❤
Bon voyage
The scene where they're looking up is way too cheesy for me...😒
Am I the only person who doesn’t like the Angie character?! She’s such a spoiled brat!
I'm really sick week after week complaining and hating the show, it's getting tiresome. Next week you'll have even more to complain about
I feel like they are trying to write the og's out of the show...partially because they are white. It is gross!
Love love love it! Im going to be so sad when it’s over tho! 🥹
