I really like that Cassandra looks like a woman - a obviously physically fit and unusually strong woman - but still a woman - I still think the female model for Valhalla looks like a teenage boy though.

I forgot how much better the combat and parkour is in odyssey until this update.
I made the mistake of finishing the story before clearing the island.
I bought the Shinobi armor and noticed when it says max speed it means all the attack and assassination animations are really sped up. The longest assassination animation where you flip them over by tackling them, then stabbing them is much faster with it. Helps feel a bit more like odyssey's faster gameplay, really liking it so far
One of the main things that they also did was that they made the icons for the river raid much bigger and easier to select. And the river raids are now much, much faster, going from waiting 3-5 minutes to like one minute on old gen consoles.
My favorite bug that has persisted from over a year ago is the runes from a pre-order or something that will always be deposited in your inventory should you sell them. They come back every time I load the game or fast travel continents. Has literally made me hundreds of thousands of coin by now.
This was only weird for me because, I played as Alexios in Odyssey. Would've been cool to see him in it.
I agree… or stop giving us the option to choose between different characters if you’re only going to recognize one of them lol
@@MrGeoff-iv6re nah having that option is good. They could implement some sort of recognition code where it detects what you played as in the other game. But for sure that's a hell lot of expensive work for some free content. It doesn't make sense.
@@FirestormX9 yeah, so don’t make content that disregards the other player character then. Either recognize both or neither… if that’s too much work then only make one playable character
@@MrGeoff-iv6re Basing the entire main game character options on a few hours of free dlc is like planning a long vacation based on the menu options of a McDonalds available there. Its unquestionably senseless.

They really went through the effort of bringing back the voice actor and making the quest for korfu playable as Alexios but couldn’t bring him in Valhalla for the small cross over with a quick save read for the 2/3s of the players that chose him… I enjoyed the lord I quest but still wont be playing the isle of skye quest. I respect that kassandras apparently canon but I don’t accept that Ubisoft marketed odyssey all about your choices and your odyssey only to go back on it and say yea but what you chose isn’t canon.
I absolutely love seeing Kassandra again. I find Melassanthi Mahut's voice soothing.
Kassandra needs another game.

I don't think so. Sad thing is they even removed Animus Control Panel from Origins due to changes in the client. In the same time they didn't remove hints about it in the game. So Origins seems like an abandoned game.

I had a glitch last night when it comes to the skill points. I was at 475 and did a mystery that should have rewarded me and my final skill point to be max level, but instead it gave me a mastery point.

Hey Jor great video, I did not read the patch notes, but one thing I noticed was that they removed the berserk armor set weapons and mount from the helix store at least on PS4. Also you probably already figured it out but if you use up all your adrenaline the the spear(Leonidas) no longer glows. Finally once again on PS4 the ornament on the back of the draugr cloak(when cloaked) does not work with physics properly causing clipping.
Have they included more diverse finishers for the one-handed swords or is it still just the drop kick?

They finally fixed the Flann over Ireland bug where Bard is stuck at the stable. I had that bug since druid launch and after booting up the game yesterday I traveled back to Ireland to just get some free money from my trade box and the game forced me into a cutscene and hello I was at Tara and Bard and Ciara where there. So finally I can enjoy the rest of the Druid DLC this christmas month what a nice present
The crossover was pretty cool and the fight was badass but i don’t like how in every dlc, Eivor seems to regress in terms of character arc and development
He was pretty bland to begin with tbh. Bayek is still the best protagonist of the new AC games.
That's because all Eivor's DLC expansions happen DURING the campaign. Meaning, she hasn't yet experienced the end of Sigurd, Basim. and Alfred.

So many ideas and possibilities for future AC games!. Like a Samuri Ninja version? Or a military version
They should fix the interface and comparmentalization of runes so players can hide used runes and scroll trough a organized rune menu when applying runes to weapon and armor so the runes are organized and laid out in order and compartmentalized by type and quakity of rune and the used runes can be hidden and removed from visible options

There are 2 glitched out quests. I'm currently in my second NG+. The first quest is the DLC one where you have to help socrates and free him from imprisonment. You are supposed to walk throuh the door and a cutscene should play, however for me there never is a cutscene and socrates just stands still and does nothing (and the ony way to leave the room is reload an older save).
The second quest is "Beware the sirens call", after you cleared the tomb a cutscene should play. Before the new update the cutscene wouldn't play. After the new update the entrance to the tomb is completely blocked, preventing me from entering (it could be that it's intentional and it will be unblocked after completing the Korfu quest but i don't think thats the case)

what are those flaming twin swords you use in the Valhalla content? been mainly using Basim's Sword and thought maybe you just lit some on fire, bt the movesets and everything are off for a sword as well
Anyone else having a bug where they’re stuck at power level 475 instead of 476? I have one skill left on the tree but whenever I level up or buy a scroll of knowledge I get a mastery point instead of the skill point I need, which is super frustrating. I really liked this update overall, but it pisses me off to no end that Ubisoft can’t seem to add a new patch without breaking things.

For the new spear on the island of sky they missed out on the opportunity to get nostalgic odyssey vibes by make the spear look like the final upgrade of the broken spear . Which would make it either a dagger or a one handed sword.

Is anyone having a problem with the sound in Odyssey ? After I downloaded the update the ambient sounds went out. the only thing that make sound are people talking and fighting.
So after I met kassandra and left the cave I switched to the raven clan gear just to see the differences between the 2 Canon gear sets of the characters. Anyways the raven clan armor glows but not other armors. What's that about

After finishing Isle of Sky I woke up drunk after the wedding in a pig-pen without my blade weapons, or bow, or mask (all grayed out in Inventory). I can only fist fight and use my Hidden Blade or my small axe now. I also have at least four new stun kill moves (that so have counted so far), and many new fight moves including a Capt. Kirk Flying Two Feet Attack. I looked for my weapons in the pig-pen, nowhere to be found. I then went back to England and I still have no main weapons.
I have been roaming around as such and it has changed the whole dynamic of the adventure now. Every territory has a more deadly rating and I have actually been killed a few times as I am no longer the near-impervious super-Viking that I was even in Nightmare mode, and I love it! Roaming inner-woods bandit clans are much larger and targets and soldiers will both also just run away from me when things begin to go South for them in battle and I have to chase them down on horseback to kill them all, using Synin to tag them. It’s friggin’ awesome the way they made the experience actually challenging and interesting again! 🤙❤️😎⚔️
EDIT: Turns out I can just re-equip my weapons (not sure why the game didn’t turn them back on after the wedding fist-fight like it did after the other fist-fight in East Anglia way back in the game), but I’m gonna go without them for a while. 🤙

I would rather do the Odyssey crossover first. That way the story will make much more sense when returning to Valhalla. However this evening I played Valhalla as it was important to me to A) check out the game and B) find out what junk Reda had to offer. I then went to Glowecestre to pick up the weekly and 2 daily quests. I picked up 3 skill points, which I assigned to the 3 new Raven skills, but I'm puzzled as I can only see 2 new skills added to the Bear and Wolf sections of said tree?
How would it make more sense when they meet in Valhalla before Odyssey lmao

@@asvpxjocky It's very simple logic. I want to know the full story from the starting point. If you start with the Valhalla story it would be like reading a book of lets say of 12 chapters, starting at around chapter 7 to the end. I would rather start reading from chapter 1.
