Good video. You mentioned aligning straight with body/shoulder. I would like to hear more about how to align and expand on the body/shoulder. Personally, I do not use the dots on the approach. I only use a target down the lane and at the arrows, and I align like you mentioned. In other words, I draw a line from the pins to the breakpoint down to the arrow. I don’t pay attention to where I stand. My theory is that golfers, pool players or dart players to name a few examples, they do not have dots to align. They use their aim and then position their body accordingly. However, I am going back and forth between aiming with the center of my body vs my shoulder. Hence why I would like to hear more on how you align your body when aiming. Thanks.
I encourage everyone to learn to bowl straight. This is typically the time when the begin to learn if they are left eye or right eye dominant, which is important, more so, when rolling a straight ball.
What would you say about foot work during the approach ? If shooting the 10 pin right handed, would you walk on a parallel line to target line like 7 boards left ?
my thumb tends to get stuck when I throw straight since i can't rotate my wrist to get my thumb out like I do when I throw a hook. It usually ends up with me unintentionally lobbing the ball. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Thanks for the tip, I bowl on wood lanes, even a plastic spare ball hooks. I will try to stay more on top of the ball.
Great tips for reducing revs, but what about rotation? How do you release without rotation?
